This is one of the final bosses, but it depends on how you play. You an get this ending if Ancel is the only one to fall to the Destiny Plume. That mean's no sacrificing anyone. However, meeting the Sin requirements with Overkill wont affect the story. There are only 6 enemies: 5 Pale Fires and Garm. The Team I reccommend for the first part is Wylfred, Ushio, Lockswell, and Cheripha. Equip them with the strongest equipment(Ex: if you greatly exceeded the Sin limit for the previous level, you can give the Blue Gale to Cheripha). You need to have all but Lockswell be able to do 3 attacks, you will need to use as many Soul Crushes as you can. You will also want to equip Lockswell with the spell Sacred Javelin sso he can use Phantom Destruction. Start the battle with Wyl using Vali's Awakening in attack range of the first Pale Fire. Move everyone else into range and attack, using everyone's Soul Crush to get rid of the first one. If you healed Wyl before you attacked with everyone, good. The Pale fires will gang-up and cast 3 spells, and due to Vali's Awakening, Wyl can survive them for a while. Slowly lure each Pale Fire to their death( make sure you having enough Union Plumes) and then get ready to focus on Garm. Garm won't move, so no need to worry unti you attack. Keep Lockswell outside of Garm's attack range, you need 1 unit to avoid a game over. You need to make sure before the fight that Ushio and Cheripha both have Dash, as well as a Guard Potion or Guard Reinforce. After you survive about 2 turns, Ancel will show up and offer back-up. Switch Lockswell with Ancel, and purchase any needed provision's. Ancel is the only one who can survive multiple rounds against Garm, and you need to keep Cheripha out of range. That way you can rebuld your forces if you get wiped out. Vali's Awakening will help Wyl aganst Garm, and make sure Wyl, Ushio and Ancel have the Trinity Fork Siege set-up. With it set-up like that, you can take off around 1/4 of Gamrs's HP. However, Garm's attacks affect everyone who participated, and the survivers of the 3 attacks will be killed by it's Soul Crush. Garm will only focus on Wyl an Ancel, so don't start an attack with Ushio. Instead, have him use provisions to keep the battle going. It will take some time, but Garm will fall.
