Now that everyone seemed to be leaving the inn I knew it was definitely time to get going. My chances of getting any good knfo had hit zero. All the players left here were Zoners. Players who once they realized our situation never even attempted to play the game. Instead they moved into houses in the safe zone and set up businesses. Cowards.
"Well...I am ready to go." Pais looked over at me. "Go where now?" I smiled. "I'm ready to go home."
Pais shook her head. "Yuki-San we don't even have a group together yet. I thought you wanted to recruit players?"
"All the ones who were any good have their own agendas, and I don't have time to sit around and wait to die. I gotta get out of here...Koichi needs me."
She raised an eyebrow. "Koichi? What is he your boyfriend or something? I don't think you've ever mentioned the real world before."
I grit my teeth. I broke my first rule. Never show my weaknesses. Last thing I wanted was anyone here to know about my real life. "Just forget I said anything." I didn't need anyone here to know about my kid. "Anyway...I'm tired of sitting in this noob area. I think you and I could get to 5. Then at least we'll know what we're up against."
"Did you say you want to get to Area 5?" I turned to see who was talking. Maybe we would have a third member after all.
~meh post lol. Sorry guys. And yeah...Yuki is touchy about the real world. She feels that if she opens up someone will use it against her.
