So we seemed to have gained a new member to our party. I brought up my screen and tried to check out his stats. For some reason though it wouldn't let ne access his gamer profile. Is he some kind of hacker? My nose was still telling me that he was odd as well.
Pais was looking at me to see what I thought of this kid. So I nodded and smiled. Best not to alarm him. If he is a hacker he will come in handy. And if he tries to betray us my claws will quickly be covered in his blood.
"We are going to head to Area 2 soon. I suggest that we go shopping and gather as many items and supplies as we can. From what I have gathered in my travels, the higher the level the less save points and item shops you find." They both nodded. "We shall meet at the portal in 2 hours."
I stood up and headed out of the inn. There were 3 places I needed to stop. One for potions...one for food...and the last to work on my katana.
"Welcome back Yuki-San. It's been awhile since you came in here." Seige smiled and brushed his purple hair back from his eyes. "I am leaving to go Area hunting. Before I go would you please have a look at my katana? Last time I used it's blizzard blade it cracked." He removed my blade from it's sheath. "Geeze Yuki-San...why must you abuse my baby? You know how I feel about her. IceWind here is my masterpiece. It was hard to collect the materials to forge her."
"I have brought more for you. It is time to level her up." I tossed him a bag. He opened it up and whistled. "How many Iceines did you have to kill to get this many ice fangs? Their drop rate sucks."
I smiled. "100. And I only got 30 fangs. That's not even a 50%." He had used 5 to forge IceWind. Along with some rare potions and metals that gave it it's powers. He set the bag aside. "I think this should raise her up 5 levels. That'll make her a level 10 blade with 30% chance of ice damage, 30% freezing chance, and critical hit chance 40%. Not bad stats considering your abilities."
I stood to leave. "I need her in 2 hours Sei." His eyes widened. "2 hours?! What's the hurry?!" I winked as I headed out the door. "If all goes well...I don't plan on coming back." I left him sitting there with his mouth hanging open." Now on to my other errands.
