I was in the middle of the frozen fields about to deal justice to one of the player killers in this game,my injuries were devastating to say the least,the pain only served to make my goal clearer,My eyes stared coldly at the panicking player killer at my feet,I raised my sword in the air and just as I was about to put an end to his worthless life I was interrupted.
3 players emerged from the distance ready to attack me,I felt nothing but hate towards them,my eyes shifted quickly as I stared at every one of them for a brief second,the way they surrounded me-they must be with the player killers.
"Step any closer and you're friend here loses his head" I said coldly, I doubted such trash would care for each other's life,and I was right.
"Kill him. Makes no difference to me. But once he is dead know that you are next." one of them announced as he smirked,My anger was at the brim,I was about ready to kill the PK'er at my feet and lounge myself at him next,as I was about to,he is stopped by the artic fox,I am surprised by this intervention.
"We do not know this man. But killing him will not solve anything." the artic fox says to the dark elf,I was confused at these words,they are Player killers,what difference would it make if they knew me or not?
"You player killers make me sick! Preying on the weaker players! Well now who is the weaker player?!"I screamed at them,I was confused,angry,and my injury riddled body was pulsing with pain.
The artic fox lowered her sword and started talking "We are not player killers. I think you are confused." I lowered my guard a little bit as I heard that,maybe all this was a misunderstanding? Or is she just trying to trick me?
As I ponder in confusion the snake at my feet takes the chance and pulls out a dagger,the dark elf pulled some sort of magic attack I wasn't sure,and stopped the pk'er,The impact pushed me unto the ground,my health was low,to the point where my vision was fading.
one of them said something to the other that I didn't hear clearly,the artic fox reaches closer to me "What say you boy? Will you allow us to aid you, or would you like to face them next?" them? who is them? she points towards a few red dots in the woods,I could tell they were Iceines even with my now impaired sight, "If you refuse our help you will die." As much as I hated accepting help from them,I had no choice,I can't die here.
"Seems like I have no choice." I said with a clear tone of defeat,"I guess if you wanted to kill me I would be dead already huh..." My vision was darkening And I could no longer see,affected by my injuries I passed out on the snow.

I don't remember what happened after that,But I found myself in the town Inn,"what..happened?" I asked myself as I looked around in confusion,I still had difficulty seeing and I was exhausted,but somewhat relaxed,my eyes shift towards the door as someone enters my room,I try to reach for the sword next to my bed,but my attempt is cut short,as the unclear figure grabs hold of my
arm,"looks like you're still not fully recovered..and you're still confused"
I pulled my arm back And tried to stand up,though my will was strong my body was still in bad shape,I ended up falling back half way,my vision was clearing up,It's the artic fox I encountered earlier,I just stayed laid back not saying anything,she took my sword and handed it to me.
"you trust me?" I asked,"no,not yet at least,you do know you can't hurt players in safe areas right?" I was a bit embarrassed,in my confusion I had forgotten that inns are safe areas where players could not be damaged
"why did you help me?" I asked "I don't think you really need a reason to help someone in need" What a naive point of view,there must be a catch,there always is "is that so?" I said as I put a frown,"what do you want?" I asked boldly,"what do you mean?" she asked "I don't believe you,you must have helped me for a reason,so I'll ask again,What do you want?"
"we don't want anything from you,we just made sure you were ok that's all,then we were going to go our separate ways,unless,you want to join us?"
I was surprised by the offer,they are a group of three,they clearly lacked a certain "leader" from what I could tell,they have power in numbers,but I doubt they can handle battles of high complexity with ease,I can't really decide based on what I currently know but..."I'll tag along for a little while,If I don't like the way you're running things,I'm leaving."
"Alright!,welcome aboard!,the name's yuki,what's yours?"
"Ivan." I said,This group will be my ticket out of here,once I am in area 3 I can level up enough to carry on alone,I will be damned to let what happened in area 1 happen again.
A group of 4 took lead of a large number of rookies and told us we could break through the entrance to area 2 together,they were fairly weak and their stats were random,much like they never played an RPG before,but they knew how to convince desperate rookies.
once we made it into area 2,we drawed a large number of Iceines packs,they were new monsters to us,we did not know their attacks or their stats,The 4 who said they would lead us,disappeared in the distance,as a massacre unfolded in front of me,rookies died all around me,I was lucky enough to push my way through the packs alive,The rest were not so fortunate,I tried to lead them to safety,but they were panicking and running away,those who stayed in small groups put up a good fight,and those who ran were picked off one by one,I ran as fast I could,Until I saw the town,Where I saw the 4 who led us in the inn bar section....I spent all my gold on a stronger weapon..and waited for them to leave,the next day they were out,I killed them one by one,their deaths weighed no guilt on my shoulders.
After that I decided to slaughter as much Iceines as I could,If I pick them off one group at a time,I can level up decently as well as avenge the poor souls of those rookies.
In this death game,I can't trust anyone with my life.
"Nice to meet you Ivan,now you get some rest,We'll be moving out soon enough",she says as she walks out of the room,I know how to see through people's lies,I don't think she's the type of person to send others to die like they're dispensable objects..And she kind of strikes me as a leader,yet it's too early to make out anything,I'll just have to observe them,Maybe if they're what they seem to be,I'll consider sticking around.
