Ok since we seem to be having issues here please allow me to explain with the aid of what Essence has told me.
Adam is not a real player character. He is a game sprite. He is not on our side. In fact he is the Masterminds henchman and that is where his info comes from. When we all get together he will I fact be betraying us.
His stats are hidden because he doesn't actually have any. They are all fabricated. His hacking abilities exist because he can glitch codes in the game. That is why his hacks take the form of insects.
His goal is to make sure we all get to Area 5. If you want to get technical Adam has seen every Area. He is part of the game.
Since you guys got Sig and he knew about the water we thought it only fair that we get Adam in our group. Or else our party would have been at a disadvantage hitting Area 5. I doubt enough potion would exist for everyone. If Sig had teamed up with Yuki and Pais then Zack would have gotten Adam that way everyone would still be on the same page.
Adam will only be with us til we start through Area 5 then he will start trying to kill us. So from 5 up it will be up to the players to work together to come up with ways to get through the Areas.
