I stare at the walls of my room for a while,thinking..
"well this is some nice mess I've gotten myself into"
Now That I have killed that player killer,I have a fresh red marker hovering on me that screams: "Hey! I'm a cold blooded murderer!".."That was so reckless of me,but there was no other option! it was do or die!..plus with every player killer I remove from this game,I save a player or two passively"
At least,I liked to think that way,I can hear the others talking about something outside,the only things I noticed come up so very often are "stats" and some "potion" can't make out the rest.
Are they ok with having a red player on board? Or will they just use me as a scape goat when the need arises?,I am not sure of anything,I just hope this red marker won't cause me any more problems then what I already have.
I know for sure they don't have that much of a reason to have me,I'm really weak compared to them,sure fine swordsmanship is useful,but without the stats to back up my abilities I might as well be dead weight.
"Well,I'm in green again" I said with a poker face on,I feel somewhat rusty,But I'm combat worthy,the last bits of HP should regenerate on the way.
I should get to know the others more,It won't take long,Just a single conversation with each one of them,And I'll have them figured out,I Was always the type to read between the lines and see through certain patterns in people.
Of course I held not Ill intentions..Even If I did,Their levels are higher than mine,if that yuki girl so wanted she could slice me to pieces and all it would take is a single direct hit.
"that's enough whining for now" I say as I stand out of the bed and stretch a bit,I open my inventory to see that I have enough materials for a fur hat,I never did work my crafting skill that much,and while I have the materials,why not?
I crafted myself a fur hat and wore it,it was a bit too big for my head,which kind of surprised me,"I thought armor was supposed to be auto-sized,I look like a kid with that oversized hat".I brush it off and keep the hat equipped anyway.
Well,time to head out,I open the door with a quick swing and the un-amused eyes of my new group soon stare at me,there was silence for a few seconds,then yuki the artic fox started speaking up."finally rested I see? and just in time too,we were about to head out" She points to the dark elf then the fairy."Ivan this is adam,and this is pais." I don't respond,I was never good at
introductions but I managed to make a point somehow,"the name's Ivan, I Will be joining your group for a while."....(Real smooth jackass) they probably knew that already,This is exactly why I try to avoid groups.
Pais nods slightly and adam the dark elf,is uninterested as can be.
"You said we were moving out? where are we headed?"
Adam eyeballs me for a second then speaks up"we are going to get some materials"
He doesn't add a single word after that,I figured since I Was new I shouldn't be too nosy about everything we do,I just hope we get to area 3 soon.
"alright,anything else I should know?"
Adam speaks up again,this time a lot more quickly,"yes,You should stay at the far back of the group,the reason of course being your red marker"
"that's fine I understand"
Yuki looks a little bit displeased but doesn't say anything,pais looks rather comfortable with this compromise.
"alright then let's head out" yuki states.
We leave the town inn and head out into the snow.
"so Ivan" yuki starts talking."you any good with that sword?,and why don't you have a shield?" I take a deep breath as I'm about to speak up,"I am more than good with my sword,I can dodge attacks deflect attacks,and all that,and I Do have a shield,It's just not equipped right now"
"alright then just make sure you have it ready if we are about to go into battle"
"will do" I say,They don't know about my obelisk yet,and I doubt it would impress people in their level,well when the time comes,we shall see.
we seemed to be going a long walk,So I pulled out an old harmonica I got at area 1,and started playing the Kalinka red army choir,it seemed fitting with all the snow and cold.
