It's been 2 days since I gave myself in to the guards back in area 2,I haven't heard from yuki or anyone else since,I don't have anywhere near enough money to pay my bail and I doubt they would bail me out after what I've hidden from them.
"I'm such an idiot,now I'll rot here for god knows how long while I could be out there working towards my freedom,heh I'm inside a prison within a prison" I smile bitterly,I would have played my harmonica to ease my flow of negative thoughts but the guards confiscated it since they said it was "agitating" other prisoners.
Some time has passed now,It's still the same day but I feel too angry with myself to sleep,I try to use my healing ability again just to make sure I can use it whenever necessary,it turns out I can't do it by just holding my hand up or waving it or gesturing it,I have to put my hand somewhere on my body for it to work,I handshake my own hand and my obelisk glows,somewhat satisfied with the light and my healing ability I keep doing it for a while,not noticing a guard has been there almost the whole time.
"Ahem!"I slowly turn my head towards the guard with my hands still connected together."your bail has been paid,you are free to go" I straighten up surprised,"paid?! by who?" the guard speaks up,his arms crossed"a player named Yuki as I recall it".
I light up at hearing that and I unconsciously smile widely,"oh and before I forget..think fast!" the guard throws me my harmonica."thanks" I say,I Was about to play a short tone before I was interrupted."*cough* please refrain from playing that here" the guard says,"Oh sorry I forgot why you took it from me in the first place" I nervously scratch my head and place my harmonica in my inventory."well? are you just gonna keep standing there? go get outta here." the guard slaps me on my back slightly as he gives me a smirk.
as I'm walking through the corridors of the jail I think of what I'm going to say once I meet up with yuki and the others again,I wonder if they'll have me back...even if they don't I'll still make my way to area 3,my power alone should be enough now that I can heal myself."......" I think of saying something to myself but the words never make it out of my mouth.I can see the exit right ahead,near the gate is..without a doubt yuki,she waves to me cheerfully from the distance,I can only walk slowly towards her with my head down,I need to apologize,and thank her for bailing me out.
"why the gloomy face? did you drop your soap in there?",I instantly look up to her embarrassed and shocked with the bold comment."Nothing of the sort! You don't even need to use the bathroom here and you know that!" I stretch my arm out pointing at her."ahahahaha!,I was just messing with you,you seemed down and I wanted to cheer you up".I Don't even know how to respond to that,I had no idea that she would still treat me the same after all I've made her and the others go through,I delayed them,hid secrets that put us all at risk,and in the end she bailed me out.
I do the only thing I can think of and stretch out a hand."thank you for bailing me,you didn't have to though,after everything I caused you".she shakes my hand."don't worry about it,your bail was nothing compared to the amount of money I usually spend on average,it was like buying a healing item really." for some reason the image of a potion bottle with the label "Ivan" on it pops in my head."well? are you ready to head out?" she beams,"Of course,I can't thank you enough for your help,and to think you still trust me after what I've kept from you".I pause for a few seconds"thank you".
With that we both exit the gate and find pais natian and adam waiting for us.
