BookLook: Reviews and Recommendations

New to my ElricBlurbs blog is the BookLook: a segment where I take a look back through the novels I’ve read and talk about what’s most enjoyable about them! I’ll try to work some official literary analysis in there, but that’ll be on a second page separate from the book-club-style review I’ll do for those that just want a fun read.

Books to review:
-The Rogues of the Republic series by Patrick Weekes
-Disenchanted
-The Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott
-Infidel
-Build a Man
-The Penryn and the End of Days series by Susan Ee
-The Laws of Gravity
-Chaos Quarter
-Faking It
-Rushed
-The God Portal
-The Michael Vey series by Richard Paul Evans
-The Mercury Falls series by Robert Kroese
-The Starfire Angels series by Melanie Nilles
-The Black Stiletto
-The Angel Burn series by L.A. Weatherly
-My Feet Aren’t Ugly
-Dead Girl Walking

As you can see, it’s a very long list! I obviously won’t get to all of these, since some of them have been sitting dusty in my Kindle for a couple of years, but the ones closest to the top of the list will be reviewed, since they’re more recent to my reading adventures. Some of my favorites off this list are Build a Man, the Nicholas Flamel series, and anything by Robert Kroese. Both Mercury Falls and the series that Disenchanted is from were written by him, and if you need something to laugh at, the witty banter and senseless antics of his novels are a good place to start!

I’ll start writing up some reviews, but I won’t tell you my posting schedule for the BookLooks quite yet! Just know that I’ll try to keep it to every two weeks, to give me time to read more novels and write more reviews. It might get shuffled back to once a month when I start college, since I won’t really have time to do reading for fun.

Until next time, this has been ElricBlurbs!
