Summer Plans

Hey all! I've been working on figuring out my summer plans a little bit more, and while I try to figure out a livestreaming schedule, here's the other stuff I've got brewing:

1. Revamping my YouTube channel for Let's Plays of some cool indie games
I actually recorded four episodes already, but they haven't hit the editing stage just yet. I'm planning to make a backlog of videos so that I have enough content to keep a regular posting schedule, so once I get about a dozen videos ready to upload, I'll start posting on the regular. I'm keeping the channel family-friendly, so any curse words will not be said aloud if they appear on-screen.

2. Getting back into digital art with some sketches
I'm SUUUUPER RUSTY in digital art, since I haven't touched a tablet in months. I'm excited to start using this new program my dad bought me called ArtRage, which allows you to use natural paper and tool textures that behave like their real-world counterparts. I have to change the install location from my laptop to my desktop, though, so I can use my Intuos, as there's only one license that comes with the product.

3. Finishing my novella from a few years back
This one never made it to my dead writing Worlds, but I've been sitting on it for a few years. It's about a girl whose mother has an encounter with Death incarnate, leaving her fated to die after 9,000 days on Earth--one for each mushroom her mother ate while she was pregnant with her. It's got a lot of cute, innocent comedy in it, and some pretty gnarly plot twists planned, but the manuscript is already a lot farther than anything else I've actually written, and I'm not out of steam yet.

That's about it for now... I'll update the list as I change and gather more projects. I don't want to put too many things on my plate at once.

I'm going to make a separate post logging my progress on the YouTube channel, and maybe I'll add info on the novella as I go along.

It's 1am where I am, so ciao, guys!
