Hey, I said I wanted to be more active here!
--
So, I discovered yesterday that my school changed meal plan policies for on-campus students, and they now offer an unlimited plan. WHICH IS CRAZY. And the cafeteria hours have changed to reflect this new policy, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner being back-to-back instead of at distinct times with gaps in between. (This only really affects the lunch-dinner gap, which affects me because of two evening classes I have that would get in the way of my ability to eat dinner.)
In order to make the unlimited plan totally worth the money, however, I need to do one thing: get up at 7-7:30 every morning so I can eat before my 9am MWF class. Considering the fact that my roommate is an early bird, I'm hoping she'll help me with this. But I do plan on trying to get to bed earlier next week, since it takes 60 days to form a habit. Wanna get an early start so it takes less effort once school begins, haha.
Plus, I've been missing that mystical time called "morning." It feels weird waking up when most people are heading back to work from lunch. "Extremely disorienting" doesn't even begin to cover it.
For those who don't know/don't recall, I haven't gotten up that early since spring of 2016, when I was still in high school. Hopefully my body will remember the twelve years of suffering I had and just jump right back into the habit, but we'll see. I'll try to provide updates and keep a journal of my progress or something.
This'll be fun.
On the bright side, next week I get to take a break from my research job, so I won't have that hanging over my head as I try to correct my laughable sleep schedule.
