Broken Love

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have no trust in the people around you?
Have you ever wondered if they had some deep dark secret that they couldn’t tell. Maybe
that’s why they no longer have the ability to trust someone. Have you ever wanted to be
them fore a day? You shouldn’t. I maid the wrong choice long ago. I chose to live the life
of the one person I admired the most and now I’m a prisoner to her lifestyle. I can’t tell
anyone the secret’s that they have tolled me. If I do they’ll do to me what they will do to
many other people. I was once a happy perky girl now I’m a gloomy emotionless girl that
doesn’t care for anything anymore. Keeping this secret make’s you like that especially
when you have been doing it for fore years.

I was walking down to my room same as any old day. I wasn’t expecting to be escorted
to my room. They were really starting to lose there trust in me. I sighed when I got into
my room. I flopped onto my swivel and started my computer up. “Might as well get my
stupid homework done while I’m still awake.” I mumbled t myself and started writing my
essay for English. We were supposed to write a story about a girl that loses her parent’s.
Mr. Handwater wanted us to be creative he even said we could even do a science fiction story.
I smiled to myself as I began to write. There once was a girl that lived in Hmmm where
should she live? Oh I know. Ohio. She had a beautiful mother and a great father, But
one day there was a great storm. Her and her parent’s took shelter in the basement,
Her parent’s had her stay In the shaft that lead to the kitchen and the basement.
What
should happen to her parent’s? I got it! She sat quietly waiting for them to tell her it’s
ok to come out. She herd some rustling and a loud crunch. She opened the door’ very
quietly and peeked out. What she saw was horrifying. Her father was on the floor, his
usually red face was now as pail as snow. She scanned the room for her mother. When
she finally found her mother the sight almost maid her scream. She seen a tall man with
thick black hair and ruby red eyes. In his mouth was her mother’s neck. The girl remained
silent waiting for them to leave. ‘They’ll leave soon I know they will’ The girl thought
to herself and closed the door’s to the shaft silently. She huddled herself into a ball,
the shaft was very cold. She herd foot step’s coming closer and closer to her when
all of a sudden they came to a stop. Her heart was beating rapidly now but her breath’s
were normal and calm. She closed her eye’s when she herd the door’s to the shaft open.
She didn’t want to look up. She knew what was going to happen now. They had taken
her parent’s life and now they would take hers. “What is your name?” A soft voice asked.
She turned her head to see a tall boy with long brown hair and scarlet red eye’s. She
didn’t respond. His expression changed from a happy face to a cruel one. He grabbed
her the caller of her dress and pulled her from the shaft. “I’m not in the mood to play
stupid game’s kid.” He snarled out at her. His word’s didn’t faze her neither did the
ruff jerking he did to try to get her to talk. Her face had lost all emotion and she no longer cared.
‘maybe if I get him mad enough he’ll kill me to. Then maybe I’ll be able to be with mother and father.’
She though. She kicked him but it only caused her pain, that didn’t faze her either.
It was as if she had become numb.
Now what? How should I wrap this up?
“Interesting story. I think you should have her become a vampire like them.” a voice from
behind me said. I jumped slightly. “What do you care.” I said glaring at him. He chuckled.
“She’s going to get away from them. I don’t want her turning into one of them.” I grumbled.
“It’s either she turn’s into one of them or she die’s.” He murmured and started playing with my hair.
It sent a shiver down my spine. “I would rather her die than become a monster.” I whispered.
He took me by my collar and pulled me to my feet. “Do you really feel that way about us?”
He asked with a mock sadness in his eye’s. I glared at him. He smiled at me and threw me on my bed.
“You stupid human.” He said then disappeared like always did when he was angry with me.I got up and sat back in my chair. “Stupid Vampire.” I grumbled and started writing again.
David?” She mumbled. An evil smile spread across his face. “So you’ve finally noticed eh?
Well it won’t help you, you know.” He said bringing her closer. “But why did you do this to my family?
To me?” She asked sadly. “Do you actually believe that I cared about you? You really are nothing but a stupid human. Your all the same. Nothing but food.” He said in disgust. These word’s
finally broke the shield that maid her have emotion. The glimmer of hope in her eye’s
were gone now. She wiggled kicked slapped and punched him until he finally lost
grasp of her. She sprinted to the shaft and pulled the rope as fast as she could. In a
minute she was in the attic. She was searching for the gun that her father kept in
case of an emergency. When she wrapped her finger’s around it David came in.
She turned to him, the gun tucked into her sleeve. “Did you really think you could
get away from me?” he said as he moved towards her. She pulled the gun from her
sleeve and pointed it at him. “Oh you have to be kidding me. That won’t kill me.”
He said with a smug smile on his face. She smiled and said “Who said it was for you?”
and turned the gun and shot herself in the head. Her body fell limp on the floor.
In the end she decided to die rather than become one of them, a monster.
I smiled and leaned back in my chair.
“ “That’s not a very good ending Izzy.”
Demetri murmured in my ear. “Your opinion isn’t important to me.” I said and
saved my essay. He grabbed the back of my head and pulled me back. The swivel
chair fell as I stayed dangling, the only thing holding me up was Demetri’s hand.
“Why is it that my mate is so rude to me?” He said as he pulled me to his body.
“You used to love my opinion’s now you just want me to be silent. Why is that?”
He asked sliding his hand on the side of my face, his other hand wrapped around my waist.
“I used to love you too. But now I know better.” I said with no emotion. He growled at me.
“You can’t really blame me can you? I mean you are the one that betrayed me in the worst
way possible.” I said with acid leaking into my voice. “Ah so you do fell.” He said as he
lowered his face. “It’s been two day’s” He murmured in my ear. My body stiffened.
The pain of his teeth biting into my flesh right under my collar bone sent the sting of
pain throughout my body. When he was done he sucked the venom so I wouldn’t
become a vampire.. My body went limp in his arm’s. His body holding me up.
“Someone’s not eating all her food group’s.” He murmured as he laid me on my bed.
“Be careful. I heard that other kind’s of monster’s are coming here now. I’m going to
be keeping a closer eye on you now. I just wanted to let you know.” He whispered before
he left. I huddled into a ball on my side wanting nothing more than to sleep. “I don’t know
why he care’s for you? Your so ugly and weak. He should have picked someone else.” I
heard Amelia say after Demetri left. “That make’s two of us.” I said weakly. “Leave her
alone she just got her blood drunken by Demetri. You know he like’s to take a lot of blood.”
Markus, Amelia’s mate, said in my defense. He was a lot nicer than every one else
that was in Demetri’s cult. I let the exhaustion take over me and pull me into a deep
sleep.
