I don't think I've updated here in maybe two weeks? Wow! I guess I have a lot to tell y'all about! not that anyone reads these anyway, this is I guess more of a personal diary now lololol I've been so busy so the time musta gotten away from me. :3
The second semester of my sophomore year at college is going great! I'm loving all my classes!
There's an easy chemistry class;
an English persuasive writing class (not my favorite because I hate writing persuasive essays but the class is really easy);
I'm also taking the follow-up class to the Art History class I took last semester (it's art history on later artwork);
I have also been taking an entry-level psychology class, and it's REALLY intriguing! We're learning how the brain works, the senses, just overall how people think and why. Thursday we listened to a sound demo of a cochlear implant... both talking and music. The video shows the implant on different settings and then the actual sounds that we would hear. I love technology! Though this freaked me out, it sounds so eerie!! Listen!!
And last but not least, my last class is a 3d Design class!! It's so much fun! It's in a workshop-studio-thing and we get to do a lot of hands-on stuff. We're constantly working with blowtorches, wire, brazing (it's like welding kinda) and such. And it's a morning class. LOL we get to wake up and play with fire 8D
This project we've been working on lately is 'drawing in space with wire', basically we're all using a ton of bendable wire to make full-size CHAIRS. It's proving to be difficult but really fun too! We get to choose what kinda chair we want to make and everything. We all have a lot of creative liberty in this class :D
I'm coming close to uploading all my recent little doodles! I just have a few more to put up. I'm glad I decided to make a sketch world. :3 It's helped me see how much I've improved over the years! I also have a lot of WIPs that I need to finish, lol. A lot of them I really want to finish.
Soon I'm going to learn how to paint using SAI, and start painting REALISM!! Ooooooh. How intimidating! Ebbiru paints so wonderfully, so I've taken her on as my new teacher haha. She's given me a lot of advice on how to do what she does! She's so good! Y'all should check out her art!! Go!
Well it's February now, and that means Valentine's day is coming! I hope I remember to send all of my TheO friends mushy/sexy love notes on that day ;3 As for my plans, me and my bf are simply sitting on the couch and watching Finding Nemo and The Emperor's New Groove together :D We both love those two movies and can quote most of them together, it's like our little thing XD I'm not getting him anything, he's not getting me anything. I actually don't really like Valentine's day. It's not as big a deal as everyone says it is. :b
Hm... well the wire chair completed is due Wednesday, and I'm still not done, so I'mma head to LSU and work on it some more!
So I got my dad to cosign a loan for me and I got it!!! And I was able to pay for classes and complete my registration!!! *victory dances* Classes start on Monday, so I'm excited!! SO ready for this break to be over. It's been pretty boring. :1
Did I tell y'all I got into two art classes?? Whoo! Digital art II (somehow I got into that one without taking digi art I) and also Intro to 3D Design!!! And an English class, and Psych again, and an easy chemistry class. I gotta get some notebooks this weekend. *takes note*
All that's left for me to do is to get a job! I hear my friend's dad could get me in at LSU, a computer-related job. I'll look into that.
Dude. I've been having ideas of making a rp group, and it'd be set in Skyrim. And all the medieval-ness. And dragons. lskdjafldf. I don't know who'd join me though... I am kinda hesitant to make a rp just to see it flop on the ground like a useless Magikarp. :1 I wonder who actually would have fun with this? You wouldn't really need to play Skyrim to be able to roleplay with this. It's basic medieval stuff. Idk, I'll keep working on the idea and possible story arcs.
I just found out my bf Michael might decide to go to work offshore at some company to save up money to pay for college again. (he dropped out last semester because he couldn't pay for it.) But... he says he'd be gone all the time off shore for like 4-6 months at a time, and then come back for just one month, and then go back off shore. ....I'd miss him so much. Omg. I love the fact that he's wanting to work a lot to save money up..... but a huge part of me cannot bear to have him physically far away from me where I can't go see him. I almost want to wish that he DOESN'T get the job. I know that's so selfish of me... but if he gets the job.. I'm going to cry. I'm gonna miss Naquin so much. I'm not looking forward to that. *is getting super distressed*
Well, I found out that there were three corrupt game saves. So I deleted them. It still doesn't work, though.
But here's the story from the beginning. I wanted the new patch, since some of my quests were glitching up on Ra'jirr's file. So I made ANOTHER profile, and connected it to xbox live. It worked, and I got the patch, but when I tried to play my game, it didn't work somehow with the new patch. So I made a new game on my live profile. That worked well, until suddenly (present day now) Skyrim disc "isn't readable". It's like that on my live profile and my brother's too.
Then I go back and try to play my original Skyrim save that's on the account that's NOT connected to Live, and it works fine. I tried signing that account up for live, and the file still works.
SO, I never really found out what's going on with the gamesaves on the other accounts..... but I'm able to play my original Ra'jirr file with the patch, which is what I wanted all along. So I guess that's good. XD But I'm screwed if it happens to me again, on THIS account. :1
Basically the Skyrim disc wasn't the problem. It must not be too scratched. *shrugs*
I thought of an idea for a Xatu gijinka! I'm thinking of the details today.
Also my car battery is dead, like really dead, and I need a whole new one. Trying to get dad to help with that. And help cosign for a loan for school. The fee bill is due Friday... DX If I'm able to take classes this semester, I get to be in two art classes! Whoo!
