I... I... omg!! It totally scared me!! I'm too scared to even-- oh my...
I was just driving down a 5-lane road to get home after band practice yesterday, and SOME KID HIT MY CAR!! 8OO
Lemme show you a picture, just because I have time and I'm OCD and need to do it XD
So as you see from the diagram, I was driving along, minding my own business, and I had the right-of-way. Then this kid comes along in his truck and turns left trying to get into the parking lot, you know, crossing over my lane of course. He must've not judged the distance well, cus he hit my left side door (behind the driver's seat)!!
We both parked in that parking lot and his dad came and we figured out what to do. The kid looked so young and tiny! I would've said he was like 15. But he just turned 16 according to his dad.
Anyway, so since (Thank you God) that the angle of our impact was an obtuse angle, it was only a glancing blow and from the side diagonally, so there was little impact. I have such a bad memory that I can hardly remember what the impact sounded like, but I do remember thinking right before he hit me "OMG I'm about to get in my first car accident...omg omg"
Since it was little impact, I don't think (then again I can't remember well XD) my car really got pushed sideways across the lane or anything, so I just slowed down a little, kept driving, turned right onto that unlabled street and turned into the parking lot from that street. I think I forgot to draw the entrance but oh well.
His truck was barely scratched or dented!! It was hit in the left side tip of the nose, and it had no dent, only a big black spot. Which is strange, since my car is a dark red kinda color (it's my dad's old one) and he scratched some paint off and I would think he would have red on his car.
OMG like bloodshed 8DD Too bad that didn't happen...man....
Anway, so my mom got there and she and the kid's dad talked and the dad agreed to pay for all damages so we wouldn't have to call the cops and mess up our driving records. But I really wish that kid's car got dented as well... grr. I want REVENGE, not just fair repayment!! >:@
Maybe later today I'll take a picture of the damage, and show y'all!! My side door does not open. I think the impact dented some of the door mechanisms that open the door... I might have to get another door...
Idk what I'm going to do about driving to school. The metal over the wheel scrapes on the wheel sometimes. *shivers* I hope I don't get a blown tire on top of all this....
