IT!!!!!!!!
Im in!!!! I cant believe it!!!! Gah!!!! I was sooooo nervous and I messed up, but I also made a good impression on Mr. King! He said I "passed with flying colors", and my tone was "good throughout, on both the low notes and the higher ones" and he even invited me to join the Symphonic Winds too, because he thought I had that much talent......
Omg Im freaking out. Im still really shook up because of my nerves, and I cry when I get too nervous, so right after I finished I started practically bawling in front of him..... XD I explained to him that I was fine, I just cry when Im nervous. :p
First he asked me to play two of my favorite scales and I chose Ab and Gb. Then the chromatic. He told me to play louder, so I tried to put as much air in as I could and still sound good. Then I played my prepared piece; that went pretty well and he stopped me around the 3/4 mark and said that was enough. Then he got a sightreading piece out for me, with a cut time signature..... I suck at sightreading, but especially cut time! Gah!! I failed at that. He even helped me through it like we were doing a one-on-one practice session instead of me trying to impress him with my mad skillz. Which I am lacking in >.>;
But after all that, I MADE IT!!!!! *flails arms*
