Hey, guys! It's been a while since I updated here. Let me tell you what's been going on!
Life/living:
I moved into a better apartment with my three best friends!! We are all working very well together, and it's exciting. Our apartment is a town house with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Really big, and We had our own little porch, we are close to the office, and we have a GLASS TOP STOVE. those things are really nice.
I've been painting a few things to decorate the apt with! And I am growing my own rosemary, peppermint, and spearmint :> every so often I collect the mint leaves and make a nice tea with them!!
Gaming:
I've been playing minecraft as of late. And I would like to start saving up to buy a nice desktop computer to play computer games on.
Art:
I've been painting some things, I have also been practicing a little bit of watercolors! I've drawn my animal crossing villagers in steampunk clothing. They're super cute.
I'm still slowly practicing realism by digitally pairing portraits of my favorite book series characters. :>
I am starting to open up commissions!! I would love to do these in my free time.
Cosplay:
I went to Mechacon in August, and had a blast!! I have finished four cosplays and I KNOW they look really legit. I am proud of how they came out, I put tons of effort into them. :> I will show y'all pictures sometime soon!!
Writing:
I have had the idea for a pretty cool story I want to write. It's basically gonna be Pokemon gijinkas in a medieval setting. I am getting set up to start writing the story and I'll be posting it on theotaku as I write. :>
School:
Man, I realized I don't have time or money to take classes this semester. ): so I'm just working a lot.
Work:
I work part time at a grocery store and an art store. The grocery store JUST offered me a full-time cashier position. It would be the 8-hour morning shift Monday-Friday and I would get a pay raise. I decided to accept it. I will be making a lot more money now, which means I can afford to buy myself a new car (mine is falling apart) and the early hours means I would have time to take a few college classes next semester!!! I am nervous but excited.
