The Sunken Chapter 2

"Guess I'll draw another one today..."
Looking up the sky, carefully draw out the beautiful sunset, singing 'On Wings of Song' with my high-pitch voice.
Suddenly, Hikaru rush in, panting and sweating.
"Hey, why aren't you going home yet?"
"It's none of your business."
"That's nice, you draw that yourself?"
"It couldn't be drawn by you, right?"
"That's a bit mean...never mind about that, you should go home earlier, a girl walking alone late isn't safe."
"It's none of your business."
"Don't say I didn't warn you."

After finish drawing my sunset, I went home. Strange enough I saw hikaru sitting on the pathway as if waiting for someone.
"Finally finish?"
"Who are you waiting for?"
"Who else?"with a bright smile.
I sighed, looked at him,
"What are you trying to do?"
"Your bodyguard."another big smile.
"Walk at least 3 meter away from me."
"Yes, Madam!"

While walking, we chatted. Hikaru always get to find a topic to say, while I always ended the conversation. Now that I think about it, I was quite rude. To notify things, since the 1st time I met him, I always thought of him as a nuisance, but now, he actually save me and supported me quite a lot, so I am actually grateful to him.

I cooked myself some curry rice and went straight to bed. Tonight's dream was another weird dream, is about my funeral...funny... I sometimes wonder when I have these dream and think that I might time traveled when I sleep...

...

Another day of school...another day of boredom...
I never knew when I was young that living alone would bring such boredom, now that I think about it, I really took things for granted, each and every thing for granted...
"Big test is coming this Friday...studied?"
"Yeah"
"I told you so...doesn't need to ask her"
"What about you then, huh?"
"Don't need to be asked as well...definitely haven't study at all"Wakui smiled brightly
"I wish I can say that like you do..."
"Dream on! hahaha!!!"
"You all are so mean..."
"Don't let this kind of things let you down, you still have a long way to go, Hikaru."
"Don't copy sensei's tag line, kay? You're creeping me out..."
and finally a burst of laughter...
I really do wish that these kind of days won't ever slipped away without us noticing...

...

"Drawing again? How many are you going to draw?"
"At least 2 a day..."
"Singing that song again? I wonder if you ever sang off-pitch before..."
"If I do... I won't be singing these type of songs, and sing those low-graded songs..."
"Those are not low-graded, those are pop songs, mind you..."
"Really, some singers don't even know how to sing, I wonder how they can be famous..."
"They can sing...unlike you..."
"It should be unlike YOU"
"Being mean again...When will you ever be girlish, even for a second..."
"Answer is simple if you ever use your head...NEVER!"
"Alright...Alright...hey! Want eat dinner together?"
"?"
"Since you live alone, I bet you eat alone...food will taste bad if you eat alone, you know?"
Shoot...How did he know that I prioritize food??
"Fine...ramen..."
He then gave me another bright smile like before...Come to think of it...I never did smile before...

The ramen that night really is the best course I ever tasted after my parents died...I might need to thank Hikaru for that...
