The Sunken chapter 9

"Well...Riku...I'll be going off then. Please take care of the house, kay?"
"..."
"I'll buy loads of present for you! That I promise you, by then, be a good girl."
"..."

"Hey, Akira, you don't look well, are you alright?"
"Yeah..."
"Your face is so red, Wow, you're steaming hot, you better go home and rest."
"I'm fine..."
"You're not fine, I'll take you home."

For some reason, I have no will power to argue, so I go along with Hikaru. He's being kind again, carrying my bag for me, holding my hand in case I go drowsy, I wonder why he wanted to help me.

"Hey, you alright, are you feeling sleepy?"
"Yeah..."
"Old man go vacation right?"
"Yeah..."
"You're so troublesome...Whose going to take care of you now?"
"..."
"I'll stay until you go to sleep, is that alright?"
"yeah..."
"I'll cook you some congee, go straight to bed."
"Kay..."

"So strange, You're all that in school, now look, you're so cute when you sleep."
"Hey, Akira, you know...I like you, a lot. I wonder...what exactly do you think of me."
"Well...I'll go like I said. See you."

I had a dream, a dream about a manga I just read. After I woke up, there's a bowl of congee on the table, there's a note that says "Get well soon, Idiot."

I didn't go to school the day after, I sleep throughout the time I was suppose to be in school. Hikaru came by after school, he brought fruits with him.

"How are you feeling?"
"Same as yesterday."
"Here, eat some apples."
"Thanks."
"What do you have for breakfast?"
"I cooked some soup."
"How's my congee?"
"You need to add more salt in it, too bland."
"Sorry then, I wasn't very good at cooking."
"Have you cooked before?"
"No."
"That's fine for a beginner."
"Praising me? That's rare."
"Please stop, I don't want to waste my breath on silly things."
"You know, you should lie down. I'll cook you something to eat when you awake."
"Hey..."
"What?"
"Stay here until I'm awake."
"Eh?"
"Please?"
"Fine, just go to sleep."

"You awake?"
"Yeah."
"Eat up then."
"Kay."
"How is it?"
"Good."
"(smiled)Really?"
"Yeah."
"How're you feeling?"
"Better. Thanks."
"Welcome. The old man contacted you?"
"Yeah..."
"What did he say?"
"He'll buy gifts for me."
"He really treasure you huh?"
"Why do you say that?"
"I know someone who feel the same way as he does."
"Oh?"
"Yeah."
