I wouldn't call them "supernatural", but I do have special abilities.

I can manipulate water and ice.

I didn't just wake up with them one day. I had to develop them.

I'm not really sure. Elementalist traits aren't necessarily genetic.

By moving in a certain way or taking a stance and concentrating hard.

I have the top fighter rank in my village, so I have considerable control.

It can be physically and mentally taxing.

Only if you don't have good control.

There's always room to improve.

They are definitely a help, and I would never want to get rid of them.

Yes. The ability depends on which Gate they come from. Those from the Water Gate like me have similar abilities to mine.

Stronger or weaker -- well, that depends on the rank of the person I'm fighting. I do have certain techniques that are unique to my village.

Unfortunately, I have had some pretty close brushes with death. But no, I've never died.

No, I'm from the Water Gate, an alternate dimension of Earth.

Kaita, a village in the Water Gate. It's a beautiful place to live. There's a lot of scenery and nature, and, except for occasional battles with our neighboring village, it's peaceful.
