Falling against the current of a thousand hearts is a blood red rose, losing petals as it collides. The boy reaches up to touch the flower, rose petals swirling around him. And suddenly he is gone with a flash of light

He is falling, spinning, surrounded by thousands of rose petals, the one rose still clasped to his chest.Through the light again, and suddenly there is a young girl in his place, bursting out of the light with a trail of petals...But as the girl's eyes fly open, you can see past the innocence into a past of pain. In her eyes, we see another girl, fighting off hordes of monsters, her own demons coming back to her by the thousands.

We see another boy trying to help her, trying to grasp her hand from above and pull her out of the pit, but she strikes him with her weapon and falls back down, the darkness pulling her to the point of no return.The scene switches to another boy, staring at glass figurines. With one hand, he swipes all the glass off the shelf and it falls to the ground, the shards reflecting the face of a girl from his past.

The glass dissolves, leaving the boy alone. His hand goes to his chest, and he looks up, and closes his eyes. His surroundings dissolve and suddenly is in the same white place, hearts raining down upon him and the girl from the glass, who reaches up and touches his face, dissolving into him.
The boy fades, the boy from the beginning taking his place. He opens his eyes and is looking upon a girl from his past, a different girl. He reaches to touch her face, only for her to fade away. He cries out something and falls to the ground. The view flies upward, to the girl swallowed by the darkness.

She closes her eyes and smiles, stepping off the ivisible ledge on which she stands, surrounded by white blossoms.
The whole world turns upside down and flashed to a scene of the first boy standing on a beach. Around his feet...red rose petals. He looks out to the ocean, the breeze blowing his hair, and smiles.
