the patches of no trees in the distance would be were the school is, one for outdoor classes, one or two for dorms, and the biggest ones for the school itself, so there would be a lot of space for students to roam around in their free time

this would be stairs leading up from one part of the forest to the school

it's kind of hard to see but it's I think one long red stone building on a lake in a forest, it works pretty well ^^
