"But I don't know how to play hide-and-seek."
Yuki's voice carried through to me, and I grinned, tracking her down with the location of the voice.
I headed down a hallway, still following the voice when something completely caught me off guard. I stopped dead in my tracks as I heard her voice.
"But I do know how to play predator and prey..."
The statement she made gave me chills as I realized that she hadn't said that out loud. Startled but amused, I raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out how I was hearing her voice in my head. That's all I needed in life. Another voice in this strange mind of mine. I wouldn't be too found of the idea, having Yuki's voice in there with the demon, with Alyssa and Lili--
A weight forced me down on my back and I let out a surprised shout. I soon realized that Yuki was on top of me. A triumphant smirk on her face.
"I win." She stated.
A corner of my mouth turned upward. I maneuvered suddenly, shifting so that I was pinning Yuki down to the floor and grinning down a her.
"I'm not so sure about that."
Forever
A smile crept on my face, not that he could see it though, as I quickly rubbed and opened my eyes to see Setsu. I could feel my heartbeat already starting to accelerate. Strange but enjoyable how he could make my heart race with joy and calm me down enough for a nap all at once. His fingers were running through my hair.
I let out a short happy exhale, "Setsu." I spoke softly in response to my own name.
I pressed my lips to his shoulder affectionately and glanced outside. A dark and deep blue sky had fallen. The clock on the nightstand read half past midnight. I couldn't help but laugh at myself. This was the latest I had been awake in quite some time. Granted I had just woke up, but it still counted in my mind.
I gazed up at Setsu, "sleep well?"

Yuki
Words said carried down to where I had hid, inside a suit of armor just randomly lying around. I squished the insane urge to giggle and leaned back, cupping my hands around my mouth so my voice would carry.
"But I don't know how to play hide-and-seek," I said innocently, grinning madly at the slit in the head, allowing me to see into the hallway. Something clicked in my head, and it was like a magnet connecting me to Brokentears' mind. I couldn't read it, but I could speak with him.
'But I do know how to play predator and prey' I thought, then gently coaxed that thought into his head, listening as the foot steps paused, maybe in surprise, maybe for caution, I wasn't sure.
I waited with baited breathe as Brokentear's footsteps echoed down the hall to me, and when he had his back to the armor, I pounced, sliding through the opening and tackling my unsuspecting victim down to the floor. He went down with a satisfying yelp. I grinned at him from my position over him, victory dancing in my eyes.
"I win," I told him.
Setsuna
The first thing I registered was my growling stomach, and then the weight on my chest, not unpleasant but slightly unexpected. Until I looked down to see a cute mop of hair and the adorable wolf ears.
"Forever," I muttered, a smile tugging at my lips just from his name alone. I shifted an arm and lightly ran fingers through his hair, brushing a twitching ear as I did. Waking up with him in my arms was definitely worth doing again.
(Sorry, I'm a little brain dead, though I think I did alright. If I've taken too many liberties, do let me know. And pretend a substantial amount of time has passed. ^.^)
Forever
Kind words rolled off Setsu's lips as he began to drift off into sleep. I could feel myself getting sleepier by the moment. I don't believe I had ever felt so calm. I snuggled close to this wonderful man and I could hear his heart, beating in a bit of a strange way. But despite that, I found it to be perfect. I closed my eyes and just listened until I too, drifted off.

As Yuki poked me in the stomach, my balance faltered. She took off running with laughter. I hopped off the railing and sighed happily and slightly relieved that the seriousness in the air was gone. I decided to go look for Yuki.
I stepped inside and didn't see her. She couldn't have gone very far. Or could she. She was a shapeshifter after all. I wandered around, calling her name though she was nowhere in sight.
"Oh, playing hide-and-seek, are we?" I asked aloud. I grinned and continued to search for her.
(Sorry for the boring post D: but since Forever and Setsu are about to sleep/BrokenTear is clueless about Yuki's plot, I'm a little brain dead lol.)
