Yuki
I sat down, and almost immediately, I started wolfing the food down as fast as I could, my body automatically thinking that if I didn't, it would be gone. I found, though, that my appetite vanished in my curiousity and confusion as the human lolita excuesed herself almost as soon as I had sat down.
I sat back, my appetite suddenly gone, buried under my confusion. I listened with half and ear as Brokentear went on about something sounding suspiciously like rules -I made no promises on any of them- and observed the final member to this new trio to see if he'd have the same reaction, though I was still unsure if it was my presence or not.
He was adorable, this boy, trying so hard to not appear shy and falling just alittle short. He looked no older than late teens, maybe 16-17, but I myself was the perfect example that you couldn't judge a book by its cover, so I wasn't sure. Seeing how Brokentear was finally winding down, I opened my mouth to ask after the blonde girl when a familiar scent flooded my nose and I snapped my mouth closed with an audible 'click'.
I groaned out loud, a long suffering sound, but the smile playing on my lips said that what it was wasn't a bad thing. I full out grinned when I saw I had both male's attention. "We have company," I told them, and at the slight panic I smelt, I hastened to ellaborate, just this once. "Don't worry, I know him well, he's my friend. He's just like us, another outcast," I told them, and then got up to find out where my old friend would appear this time. Bloody shadows.
Setsuna
Finally. I'd finally found her, after so many years spent looking. I kinda liked the place she was staying in, an old but classy lookin castle that looked very sturdy, but had an air of sadness. It suited her perfectly. I used my old senses to feel the place out, looking for her, and for other life.
I felt Yuki first, alittle surprised she hadn't smelt me coming. I found out why soon after. She felt sealed, not completely whole, not completely herself. She'd always been a bit broken, but this felt much, much diferent.Speaking of broken, there were four other presences, all a bit broken inside, but it was different. One felt completely closed off, like he'd cut a part of his soul off. Another just felt sad, a desperate longing to be whole held close. The third presence felt female, and she seemed to feel me too.
My presence seemed to make her anxiouse, but the fourth presence was going nuts. It felt familiar, like a long lost friend, but I couldn't quite remember. She left the other presences and then a girl appeared on the balcony above me, seeming like she'd run a mile. Had I really upset her so much? She looked down, and though long unused instincts screamed to hide, I allowed her to see me. I smiled up at her, half in amusement, half in greeting, and then melted into the shadows.
I felt around in the dark, using the shadows around the mansion to feel out where my little Yuki had gone. Finding her waiting in a hallway, I stepped into reality and then promptly stopped. She...she was younger, much younger, then what she should be. "Yuki," I said, and she turned and gave me a small smile. I couldn't take it. "You're soo cute!" I squealed, and then promptly glomped her. She went down like a sack of bricks. Right as her companions walked in.
Yay! I finally got to introduce Setsu~. Don't worry, I'm sure theO will work for you soon.
