I listened with half an ear as Forever thanked me for something I felt he shouldn't have had to, because he should have been given those words of affection long before now. It was infuriating that he hadn't, but I could easily fix that.
I felt a weight on my chest and smiled when I saw that it was Forever, curling up for the nap I had requested. A feeling of happiness and warmth spread throughout my chest and settled around my heart. Feeling particularly fond, I lightly ran my fingers through his hair.
"Adorable, beautiful, angelic boy. What am gonna do with you?" I murmured, smiling at the relaxed face, eyes fluttering. With the smile still on my face, I drifted off, curling an arm around his shoulders lightly, my other one resting over his waist.

I watched Brokentear in awe as he balanced on the balcony ledge like it was nothing. Even I would be wary of standing on it, if only because I would have to do some maneuvering if I fell. Snapping out of it, I smiled lightly and leaned against the balcony ledge.
"Me? Plotting something? I have no idea what you're talking about." I teased, then showed off impressive canines in a grin when Brokentear gave me a dubious look, still balanced precariously on the ledge. He was making me nervous, being on that ledge, but I trusted that he knew what he was doing.
"Really, I have no idea what your talking about," I said again, nearing him at a snails pace. When he was within arms length, I smiled disarmingly, mischief still present.
"You know, we never did finish our game of tag," I teased, then poked him in the ribs and took off, laughter trailing from my lips.
