Surprise Normality

Yuki

"I'm not sure which I'd prefer-- nightmares, or a normal life." BrokenTear sighed, and I hummed agreeing. I still stuck by what I said, that there was little difference between them, but preference was different. I blew out a breathe and twisted my wrists, enjoying the pops that sounded, before flopping my arms onto my chest.

"At least with normality, there's hope, room for happiness and love and friendship. With a nightmare, everything gives way to fear. You say unfulfilled, I say it's merely undiscovered. There's no passion, no interaction, just monotone. But with the right person or people, normal can evolve," I said firmly, stumbling on the end with a lethargic yawn. With my words hanging in the air, I turned a smile at the male I was using in place of a pillow.

"We always end up talking so seriously," I said, adding a teasing edge to my words to lighten the air some. Lightly, I swatted BrokenTear's stomach and yawned again. "What's a happy topic? I don't mind serious topics, but I like your smiles better, so lets find something happy. There must be something happy that's story worthy."

I looked up as the bathroom door opened and smiled at Forever, who looked like a deer caught in headlights. A "hey there" slipped into the air as he backed up some. I looked at the blush on his cheeks and smirked in amusement, but it fell away when I noticed he was in nothing but a towel.

He had collarbone piercings that I wanted to tug and nibble on. The scars on such an innocent boy made them even more enticing, and I wanted to lick up each and every one, learn the history of them so that I could sooth any lingering pain. Lingering...I snapped back into my right mind within the space of a heartbeat and noticed how flushed Forever looked, cutely embarrassed about his lack of clothing.

Noticing how his blush extended down his neck, I realized he didn't have his collar on. His neck was a little paler then the rest of his cinnamon body and begged to be nipped, but I mentally shook those thoughts away and smiled at the flustered boy.

"Have a good shower?" I teased, smirking when the flush got darker. I tilted my head and smirked. "Had nothing else to do, so waiting for you to be done wasn't too hard. I can wait while you get dressed?" I asked, giving Forever a way out with amusement clear in the air.
