Well, Daku had to stay here this past weekend. Damn NASA proposal. And because the group from LAST YEAR didn't do their outreach program yet, this year's group can't turn in an application!! So, basically our plans were ruined for nothing...
The most random thing happened yesterday. I had a friend suggestion waiting for me on Facebook when I logged on. I clicked it to see who it was. Daku had sent me a suggestion to befriend his MOM!! O__O She's new on there. So, I befriended her. It amuses me when I see older people on there. Like, people in their 40s and stuff.
Ok, so on to a bit of some serious business. My old partner in crime from high school has changed a lot. Over the course of the last week, she broke up with her boyfriend, got drunk, did some things she apparently doesn't regret, and has basically done a 180-degree turn from the one I knew...She used to be so happy and bubbly and Miss-Goody-Two-Shoes, but now she's on this self-destructive path of doom...From what a mutual friend told me, it's very good that she broke it off with her last boyfriend, at least...He was a control freak...Gah...I wish things could go back to the way they were before...But, hey, people change...
