Well, not too much has gone on lately. I bought a fish Wednesday night. He's a betta. He's so pretty! I made him a door sign so that people know he lives in this room, too. I'll upload that to my portfolio later. His name is Aidan, which is Daku's name for the SCA (medieval re-enactment group). Of course, Aidan already has 2 nicknames: Princess and Dinner. It's so fun to watch him swim around in the little tank. Especially when I play the theme from Jaws. He really hams it up when that's going. He'll talk back to me, too. I'll tell him something, and he'll be looking at me, and he'll work his mouth like he's talking back. It's adorable. Of course, I'm a bit worried. He doesn't eat the food I bought him. I don't think he likes it very much. It's these tiny pellet things. I'll drop them in, he'll nibble at them for a minute, but he'll never eat them. Daku suggests I try the flakes, so I think I'll try those...
This week is a bit busy for me, but Wednesday is the last day of classes. We get out Thursday and Friday for Fall Break. However, I'm staying on campus so I can go Trick-or-Treating. Then, when we're done, me, Daku, and Tobi are going to the President's house. Sako and Sekai are house- and cat-sitting for the Pres and his wife while they go on vacation. So we're gonna go over there and watch anime on the big screen. The Pres even told Sako we could do it! He's officially the coolest Pres ever. He makes it a point to learn every student by name and face.
Oh, yeah, back to the busy week...I have to do 2 sheets of Watercolor experiments with some new techniques the teacher taught us. I also have to do a non-objective painting for the final portfolio. That means there will be no recognizable objects in my painting. I also need to work on some more projects for my Ceramics 1 class. That teacher cancelled class for this week, but I need to do some more of the projects so I can have them finished for the final meeting. I also have a test coming up in American History 1 either Monday or Wednesday. Ugh...Then I have to start on a take-home test for my religion class. I have to write 2 papers for that...One is 3 pages, and the other is 2 pages. But I don't think he's making us do anything else for that test. I also need to do about 3 more journal entries for religion class.
