“So where do you want to go?” Elijah asked me when we got back to her room.
“Where ever you would like to go. I’m not too sure where I’m going around here remember.” I smiled while I went over to her bed and sat down.
“Well I do want to go out. How about I show you around campus for starters and then we can figure things out from there. How does that sound?” She asked
“That works I want to have fun with you before I have to go back home.” I said.
Elijah tossed her gym bag down by the bottom of her bed and then wandered over to her mini fridge and pulled out a bottle of water.
“You ready to go? ‘She asked tossing the water bottle to me.
“Can we spend just a few more minuet’s in here so we can be alone?” I asked with a little smirk.
She returned her smirk with a playful smile as she walked over to me and rested her forearms on my shoulders. “I guess we can for a few more minuets. It doesn’t take that long to walk around campus.” She said playfully kissing my nose.
I wrapped my arms around her waist. “You did amazing today.” I said.
“Not when I first went out…I was trying to be fancy when I should have just used the basics.” She stated with a bit of disappointment in her voice.
“But you figure out what you did wrong and you were given a second chance to fix that problem.” I smiled.
“Thank you Jay that really means a lot to me.” She hugged me and I hugged her back.
“Your welcome.” I whispered and kissed her cheek.
“Should we get going then so we’re not out too late looking at the campus?” She asked me.
“Yes we probably should.” I agreed letting go of her so that she could back up.
I got up as she walked over to her desk and grabbed her keys. After she locked the door to her room I slipped my fingers between hers and we wandered out on the campus. She showed me where she had classes although we couldn’t go into her classrooms because they were closed. I must have been acting like a little kid as we went around campus because I was so excited about the simplest things that she was showing me. It was all such a new experience for me that I couldn’t help it.
After walking around campus we decided to relax on the bench that was outside of the last building that we went into.
“So what do you want to do now?” Elijah asked me and I looked up at the cloud covered sky to think.
“Do you want to go get something to eat?” I asked. I knew that we hadn’t really had that much to eat today and I was starting to get hungry.
“Sure where do you want to go?” She asked.
“Well do you want to go out into town and eat? That is if you want to. I’ll pay for it.” I offered.
