On an unrelated note, I'm almost done filling out a 100 questions thingy I got from Moka (thanks kindly, friend) and I should have it up anytime now. It's freaky-deaky long.
So yesterday I decided to forego my usual work-out routine for something a little more... creative. I was curious, so I attempted some upside-down pushups - essentially pushups while doing a handstand. Since my balance is not the best, I propped myself against the wall and went at it.
And I knocked a painting off the wall, scratching the paint a little bit.
The scratch was not too bad, thankfully, and I was able to do more pushups than I thought I was going to be able to do. So I can now move on with my life, right? WRONG.
Turn the clock to today, and now my arms are sore and my muscles are twitchy. That's what happens when you push yourself beyond your current limit.
The moral of today's story: Upside-down pushups are a great way to test your physical limits. Just be ready for the recoil damage.
