I'll try to hold to that title. =P I only have a few things I'm going to cover anyway. The first will be a link since Crystia already covered what I think of the disaster known as the mini series for The Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. Her post. I could add on to what she said, but she pretty much covered it. That failed so bad that it was painful to watch.
Second, apparently I'm a kill joy since I won't post stupid junk on how I would apparently trick fellow OtakuBoards members into sleeping with me. To understand this, a thread (which was only a joke) was posted asking who you would do. Well as someone who at the time had been a member for all of three weeks, it seemed a stretch to claim I'd bang people I didn't know at all.
In a follow up thread someone asked how you'd go about it, so I just asserted the same stance of I don't know you guys and then mentioned what I would do if I met someone I did like. That makes me a kill joy it seems and someone actually told me to lighten up.
Now you tell me, if you've joined a site and you've yet to really make very many friends... telling practical strangers that you want to bang them and would have a means to make sure you'd get your way... would make you look rather stupid don't you think?
I like joking around as much as anyone, but I barely know these people other than a few of them. Oh and there's no getting around it. I am not a huge fan of crude humor unless it's really well done. And most of the time, it's not. =P
Oh and one last thing, I was pleased to see that a certain member got banned. Someone who was a complete and total ass. It's been a while since I've seen someone that bigoted, my hopes that such morons don't exist has been crushed. Though it wasn't much of a hope I'm afraid.
Mainly I'm just glad to see that the staff doesn't allow that kind of disrespect, arrogance and sheer stupidity to continue. That kind of homophobia has no place in today's society. At all. Anyway, that pretty much covers everything, have a good week.
