CHAPTER 1
“ She’s just an ordinary kunoichi with no special talents. Sure, she has perfect chakra control, but that’s just about it.”
“She’s the weakest among the others.”
“She lets her emotion get the best of her.”
“Haruno Sakura is weak.”
WEAK. WEAK. WEAK.
Every day she hears the same thing. Everyone thinks she’s weak. She wouldn’t deny it though. She IS weak. Like they said, she has no special talents, she lets her emotion gets the best of her, she’s a burden to the others, she’s–
“SAKURA-CHAN!!!” a loud, hyperactive voice got her out of her thoughts.
‘Must be Naruto,’ she thought.
“HURRY UP, SAKURA-CHAN! WE’RE GONNA BE LATE FOR THE MISSION!!!”
“Okay, Naruto! I’ll get down in a minute!”
‘Geez, Kakashi-sensei would probably be late. AGAIN. No point in coming on time,’
~DOWNSTAIRS~
“Finally, what took you so long, Sakura-chan?” Naruto asked.
“Uh.... I was...uh.... fixing up my hair!” She faked a smile.
Naruto gave her a confused look.
‘I was wondering why everyone thinks I’m weak,’ She said in her head.
She doesn’t want Naruto to hear it. She doesn’t want him to be worried about her. She doesn’t want anyone to worry about her anymore.
“Um, Naruto, where’s Sasuke-kun?”
“Oh Sasuke? He’s already in the training ground. We were both waiting for you there, but since you didn’t show up after a long time, I went to check on you,”
She just smiled.
~AT TRAINING GROUND~
Sasuke saw Naruto and Sakura entering the training ground. He was expecting Sakura to hug him tightly, saying something like “OHAYO SASUKE-KUN!!!! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?” But today, all he got from her was a sweet smile, and an “Ohayo, Sasuke-kun. How are you?” As usual his answer was, “Hn,”
A puff of smoke appeared behind them.
“Yo, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura,” Said a grey-haired ninja.
“YOU’RE LATE KAKASHI-SENSEI!!!”
“Yeah, well, a–”
“NO EXCUSES!!!”
Kakashi sweat dropped.
“Well, anyway, we’ve got an important mission in our hands. Let’s get going,”
All three genins nodded.
