Who

This is a story I'm currently making. Well here it is:

Chapter 1

“Who’s the new guy?” My girlfriend Melissa asks. I look over and the person that everyone seems to want to know. He has raven black shoulder-length hair and wearing black paints and a long-sleeved black shirt. I scoff. This is the person everyone wants to know. “Just looks like some emo guy.” I reply then go back to eating my lunch. “No seriously he looks…mysterious.” My other girlfriend, Kayla, chirps in. “Come on he’s not that special.” I say. I take a closer look at him. “He has such a pale face and those rings under his eyes are so black.” I wonder. “Whatever. We’ll find out when we’re in class.” Melissa says. We finish our food then head outside. We go to the apple tree were we usually sit. I stop in my tracks. There is the new boy. Sitting under our apple tree. “Why is he there?” I ask, a little hysteria creeping into my voice. The girls shrug then head over. How can they take this so carelessly? We’ve been sitting under that apple tree since junior high!!! I hesitate then quickly catch up with them. “Hi.” I greet him when the other girls unable to. He looks up at me wearily. “Um…me and my friends usually sit here so if you could just move…?” I ask. He sighs then slowly gets up. I notice something. He’s not wearing shoes. And then just before he leaves he adds “My names Colin.” Then walks away. “Did you see that? He wasn’t wearing shoes!” Kayla says. “Just like I said some weird emo dude.” I brush him off then we talk about what dresses we’re getting for prom. “No biggie.” I think. “Just some weird kid.”

Who chapter 3

Chapter 3

I went to school the next day. I came with only a few bruises on my back. I wanted to thank Colin for helping me. The suns rays rested on my shoulders and I took in the lovely day. Melissa and Kayla swarmed me when I entered the school. “Are you okay!? Oh my god!!! I’m so sorry!!!” They cried. “Girls it’s alright! I only have a few bruises see?” I said showing them the bruises. They stared. “So who saved you?” They asked. I paused. “Colin.” They gaped at me. “The new guy Colin?” They said. “Yeah.” I answered, wondering if that was a bad thing. “Oh my gosh!!! How did he know you were there? Didn’t the jocks like trample him or something?” They said. “I don’t know I couldn’t see.” I answered. “So if you’ll excuse me for one minute.” I pushed through them. I searched all over the school then went outside. There he was under our apple tree. He looked up as I approached him. “Colin.” I began. He put up his hand. “It’s alright. I did what had to be done.” He answered quietly. “No Colin. No one would have saved me because the jocks would have killed them. You of all people did though. How did you know I was there? And how come the jocks didn’t destroy you?” I asked. He put his head down. Minutes went by. “Okay then, don’t answer me. I just came to say thank you.” I said. Then walked off to a picnic table. The rest of the day I noticed Colin sneaking a few peeks at me. He was in my English, math and science class. I, for some reason, thought he was going to do something. Tell the jocks to forgive him and beat me up again, or do it himself. But nothing ever happened that day. I went along as usual and ignored the hated glares of the jocks, along with the curious ones when people saw my bruises. One girl even went up to me and asked, “Did your boyfriend beat you up?” I sighed and answered, “No I don’t have one, the jocks did.” She looked at me like I was hiding something then carried on. I tried thinking of ways to talk to Colin again but always came up with a blank. Melissa and Kayla started teasing. “Oh! There’s your black knight Hannah!” They would say or “ When are you going to get the makeup from Dead and Depressed?” “Shut it you guys.” I would always answer. Days passed and a bad flu started going around. I came to school prepared for Melissa and Kayla to start swarming me any second. They didn’t. I opened my eyes. My cell started ringing so I picked it up. Melissa. “Talk to me.” I said opening the phone. “Sorry Hannah. I can’t make it to school today. I caught that flu that’s going around.” She said. I heard her blow her nose. “No prob I’ll just hang out with Kayla.” I said calmly. “Okay bye!” Was her reply then shut off the phone. My phone went off again. Kayla. “Let me guess you have the flu.” I said. “How’d you know!?” Kayla exclaimed. “Lucky guess.” I said. “See ya.” She hung up. Now who was I going to hang with?

Who Chapter 2

Chapter 2

I gave a sad look at my friends. They gave a sad look back. It was that day again. The day were the jocks took the girl in our group they wanted most. They could beat her up, have their way with her, anything. She couldn’t do anything about it. It was the way things worked in this school. Jocks, for some reason, were the top of the high-school food chain. They’d picked me. They grinned mischievously and swooned when I came up. Cursing at me under their breath and insulting me at the same time. I followed them to where they took the girl they chose. “It’s okay. I’m going to be all right.” I tried soothing myself. It didn’t work. I held my breath as it started. I panicked and tried to run. “Make a wall!” One shouted, obviously the leader. The boys formed a wall at the escape route. They caught me and then took my arms and legs. They swung me like when I got birthday bumps when I was a kid. I waited for me to crash. “This girl weighs a ton.” One said. I waited. My foot fell down. “Now’s my chance.” I thought. I tried to get up but a boy jumped on my back. “I hope that hurt.” A boy grumbled. “It didn’t actually.” I said. “Hold her still I want to bench her!” One said. They lifted me up and held my right arm. I waited. I heard him running them I swung my hand. Bulls-eye. I felt my hand thump against a face then heard him fall. I looked back. He was lying on the ground. “You okay man?” A jock asked. He got up. “Yeah dude I’m okay.” He answered. I was afraid. I felt like I was going to puke. I waited for the next blow as I fell to the ground. But it never came. “Get off of her.” I heard an unfamiliar voice say. “What the?” I thought. I couldn’t move my head to see who it was, as it was pinned down. “Ugh.” I said out-loud. I felt my arm being pulled. I slowly got up but my legs felt like Jell-O. I felt myself being supported up and headed to the school. “Who are you?” I asked, unable to open my eyes for the world would spin if I did. “Colin.” Was the short reply. I felt myself laid onto a bed. I was probably in the school’s medical-room. I slowly drifted away, just catching Colin’s voice explaining to the nurse what happened. “Who would have guessed?” I thought then disappeared into an undisturbed sleep.
