Chapter 7

I was bored. There was nothing to do. I, unlike most of the people in my class, never had homework. I finished the sheets in a matter of seconds. So I had nothing in these long days. The hours went by so slowly. So I walked out of the house to the only place I knew, other then home.

The door-bell rang and a woman came to the door. “Can I help you?” She asked, looking me down. “Yes, is Hannah home?” I said. She nodded and looked up the stairs. “Hannah! There’s a boy here for you!” The minutes crept by and I heard the thumping of feet. She greeted me with a surprised look. I was fascinated.

On the way there I had noticed a park. I’d often heard of how fun they were I decided that is what we would do. “I saw a park by your house and wondered if you wanted to hang out there.” I said. The words sounded stiff. She nodded. “Sure.” She said and grabbed her runners. We walked along in silence and I enjoyed it for awhile. But I grew restless, wanting to get to the destination so I ran.

“Race you there!” I called. The words felt odd. Never could I picture myself saying such a relaxed expression. She smiled and ran a bit faster. “No fair! You got a head start!” She cried. She got a determined look on her face, but I still won. She came around the corner a few minutes later. I decided to be polite. “It was a tie. Good job.” I said. She looked at me with a expression like she was holding something in. And then she laughed. Her laughter exploded like fireworks and it went on for a long time. I looked at her. “What had I done that was so funny?” I thought.

When she had finally stopped she poked me in the chest. “Your on odd one, you know that?” I smiled. An odd idea popped in my head. I picked her up. “Hey let me down!” she said. I almost did, until I saw the smile she had. I Sat her on a swing and pushed her hard. She soared like a bird and more laughter came from her. I smiled. My childhood was not a pleasant one and I guessed this is what it would have felt like.

She went down the slide a bit and laughed. She always laughed, and she always seemed so happy. She grew tired though and sat under a large willow tree. She closed her eyes and I decided to join her. I gave out a content sigh and she opened her eyes and looked to me. Her grey eyes shone kindly.

The day had grown to night and stars twinkled in the dark sky. I watched little bugs go around us and looked to her. “It’s so beautiful. I never want to leave. A gentle draft swayed the tall willow’s branched. I felt her shiver and I very slowly put my arm around her. It felt right. “Then don’t.” I said in her ear. She looked at me and I became wrapped in her gaze. This odd feeling enclosed around me. And I loved it. She closed her eyes and leaned into me. After awhile, I think she fell asleep so I gently picked her up and walked down the street. She was so quiet. So fragile. At the door I turned her over to her mother and wished her good-night. The feeling never left me.

The night never left me mind…..

Normal Chapter 6

Here you go
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will admit, I was not happy when Kayla and Melissa came back to school. I would have to go back walking alone at school again, They all came in, arms linked and I quickly glanced at her. She noticed and I quickly looked away. Her eyes were filled with an uncomfortable sadness and I did not like looking at it. I walked away still feeling her eyes on my back. The days of loneliness followed.

Why did I care so much about this one, unremarkable girl? I never felt this feeling when hunting down criminals. She was nothing that would have caught anyone's eye. But she stuck in my mind and would not go away. It was bittersweet for me. I did not like the feeling when I thought of her, but my heart beat went a little higher every time I looked at her.

The bell rang and I walked to class, noting this was the only class I would have with her without her friends. I walked in and pulled the sheet of homework the teacher wanted to see. I felt her eyes drill onto me once again but I tried to pay no heed. Or at least I tried to. I kept stumbling on the words when talking to my teacher and when we were finally done he asked if I was okay, "Yes." I said quietly and walked back to my seat beside her.

She turned to me. "Sorry but I won't be able to hang out with you today. Melissa and Kayla came back and I kind of promised to hang out with them." She look stiff, and a small frown was forming. "It's alright. I noticed they'd come back." I said. She looked a little perkier after I said that. But did I honestly mean it? I wouldn't' let her know.

"Are you sure? You can hang out with us if you want to..." She trailed off. I had to convince her. "No it's fine." I replied. She nodded slowly and turned to the front. Was it fine? "I can't tell." I thought. The teacher started talking. I looked around in a half blur, not paying attention to hm. This was always the most boring part. Someone telling you things you already knew. He asked me questions and I automatically answered them.

No I am not alright. I lied to her. I have to lie to her. If I tell her the truth everything will be shattered. Lie, lie, lie. That is the only thing that you can do to protect yourself. I do want to follow her around, even if she doesn't talk to me. But I will not.

I followed close to her and listened to her friends. They went to the apple tree and talked. "So who did you hang out with when we were gone?" Melissa asked, a sly smile forming on her face. "Lawliet." She said. Alarms went off. "Don't tell them my name!" I almost spoke. "Who?" They asked. "I mean...Colin." It sounded odd on her tongue. "Oh!" Melissa said. "What?" She said. "He's a great guy, and smart to!" She exclaimed. I left then, feeling heat rise to my cheeks, an odd feeling it was.

Final Last Words

Well here is a story for my computer. It's being replaced today and I eally have so many memories on it. So I came up with this. It kinda sounds like a love letter though and that's kinda weird because i's about a computer and all. But it deserves it. So here are my last words to you old Computer, old pal

Final Last Words

This is to you, my dear old computer. Today you can finally be put to rest, not having to worry about having enough memory or running Photoshop up faster. You helped to learn everything I know, taught me how to type, helped me explore the vast Internet world. Helped on those science projects and PowerPoint’s that were due tomorrow. You were there for me. You tried to run as fast as you could with all your might! I remember the first time we got you and I saw you on the exact same desk your on now. So shiny and new. The was ten years ago and time has passed.

You frequently infuriate my parents, and almost everyday the ‘You are running on low memory’ bubble pops up. But still you keep running and not once have you crashed. Your slow and creaky but I still love you. I still gasp, though, when I look behind you as you stretch so far. Soon to be replaced by a shiny new desktop. Soon to be put to rest. So time has come little Dell computer to go to sleep, to be shut down for the last time. My first computer. My favorite computer. Good-bye.

Sohma House!

Well this is my entry to The Mask's Fan Words anime song Parody challenge. It is a parody to Our House by the artists Madness. Well here you go!

Sohma House

Kyo’s throwing a big fit!
Yuki’s tired of his stupid ness
Tohru’s trying to stop the fight
Shigure’s laughing in a corner, oh well right?

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Sohma house! In the middle of…

Akito’s calling for Yuki
Dark depression sets in
For a few weeks
Tohru sticks for him though
Akito throws another fit
This really can’t be beat!

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Sohma house! In the middle of…

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Animals are everywhere! Such cuties!

Shigure’s editor is at the door
Another excuse, another drink, how about one more?
Another sad tale she has to tell
The others laugh and say it’s not that bad!
She cries all day, maybe more.
She gets it the next day.

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo
Sohma house! In the middle of…

Kyo remembers the days when Tohru was there to stay
When nothing was a burden and Akito’s bet was delayed
Such a happy time
He’d remember training for days with his beloved sensei
Nothing to be scared of, no Yuki to be afraid of.

Kyo’s throwing a big fit!
Yuki’s tired of his stupid ness
Tohru’s trying to stop the fight
Shigure’s laughing in a corner, oh well right?

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Sohma house! In the middle of…

Sohma house! In the middle of Tokyo!
Sohma house! In the middle of…
