Zakuro Academy Chapter 2
Zakuro Academy was treating me nicely. Every morning we woke up at 7:00 and went for breakfast. After that we had lessons at 8:00 to 3:00. Then we had prep, which was actually just doing homework. After prep we have supper until 8:00. We had Lights Out at 9:00 but me and my dorm always stayed up and talked, all except Kagami.
The blue dorm was nice to me. Akiyama seemed to have a quick temper but was always in a funny way, Kyoko always had a hard time to stop giggling. Nabunagi had a little mischief and every now and then would try to convince us to cause trouble. We never did and she would always ditch out of the scheme.
Kyoko was sweet and kind. We were good friends now and often went to each other’s house every Saturday. I’ll admit that Kyoko’s family was slightly wealthy, but almost everyone here was. And then there was Kagami….
Kagami was very quiet all the time. She didn’t socialize with the girls very much and was so intent on her schoolwork that when the bell rang for prep to be over she never heard it and got a detention. I tried to talk to her but she just sort of isolated herself. I wonder what’s up with her?
I waited for Kyoko to get out of class. We had both done our homework and had some free time to ourselves. “So do you want to come over Saturday?” I asked. “Sure! And next week we can go skiing at my Chalet.” She smiled. It was times like these that made our friendship awkward, well to me that is. “Okay.” I replied.
We walked around campus for awhile and discussed the upcoming dance. Zakuro Academy held a dance every for grades 9 to 12.
“I can’t wait to get my dress! It will be so beautiful! Hey maybe we can get them together!?” Kyoko said enthusiastically. I shrugged. “I don’t know if I’ll be going.” I replied. Kyoko stopped. “What!? You have to go! It’s, like, tradition.” She said. I sighed. “I really don’t want to go, but Kyoko’s feelings will be hurt if I don’t…” I looked up. “Okay.” I said finally. “Yay!” Kyoko smiled.
The bell rang, signaling that class would start again. “Oh I have Gym. I have to change see you there!” I waved and dashed to the dorm. I grabbed on my Gym strip, then noticed the bathroom light was on. “Akiyama must have left it on.” I thought and opened the door to turn off the light. To my horror I saw Kagami undressing. I gasped and closed the door.
What shocked me so much was because I saw that Kagami was actually a boy!
