Bleach (short review and impression)

An anime with an unusual name and not so an unusual style. You might change your opinion on how the episodes go, but one thing stays. This is one of the best mainstream shonen anime that you can find out there.

There are a lot of episodes, with that a lot of fillers as well which may appear appealing only to the most devoted fans. Still you can always skip those if you are really like to drop a sharp stick into the eye, but among the other episodes you will find tons and tons of breathing taking and fast paced action. That action follows a very precise story line. What makes in most devoted to that are the characters in this show. There are tons of them and each one of you might one that might suit them. All these characters might become a little bit predictable and stereotypical over the episodes, but what have you expected over an anime of this style.

What I found most interesting is the soundtrack. It is breath-taking! It is not anything special, in fact if you listen closely to it, it might sound a little bit amateurish, but it gets its job done. From the first episodes and seasons to the last one, there is a huge selection of it and they try to make it fresh as the episodes progress. The only bad thing from this is that over the time some might appear almost forgotten, because they are replaced by the newer ones. Overall you will find all kinds of music from chilly and relaxing songs in the beginning, to high pumped action ones later on and then after the series takes on it will slowly change into choir. Aside from that the drawing style is okay. You can’t even expect anything more from an anime of this category, but it gets better as the episodes progress so that’s a good thing.

Overall this was the anime that got me back into watching all anime in general. It may not appear as special as it was before, but it still holds a big place and position among my favorites.
