It was cold in the "calm down" room. Mrs. Lux stabbed a needle full of a blueish fluid into Twitch, then he passed out. My guess is that it was some sort of tranquilizer. He passed out on the freezing ground, most likely to stay the night. Mrs. Lux scoffed, then bent down over him.
"Good night my little 6-billion-dollar project." She whispered into his ear. She left the room as quickly as she is mean. I looked down at him. He was slightly drooling, and one arm was out away from his body. I took off my warm, thermal jacket and pulled it over him. I remember doing that to my sister one time...
~Flashback! Whoa!~
It was a cold, fall night and my sister was very sick. I was 6 or so; too young to remember her name. She was my twin, and I loved her a lot. One night it started snowing.
"Lets go out-" She coughed violently. "And play in the snow!" She started to get out of bed, but I stopped her.
"Its cold out and you are sick. That is a no." I tucked her in and let her go back to sleep. I soon after I fell asleep. I got woken up by Mrs. Lux, or before she was called Ms. Loolu, telling me that my sister had to go to the hospital. I didn't believe her at first, but then I realized the truth, and cried heavily into her arms.
Weeks after, she came home. She didn't talk, even though I spoke to her lots.
"She is going to stay with Ms. Loolu for a while. Don't worry." Dad smiled as my twin swung herself on the swing. I wanted to go over there and push her, but my dad's arm restrained me. The Miss stepped out of a silver, sleek Toyata (boo) or was it a Mustang (ya! that's better)? She grabbed her hand and took her away.
"Nooo! Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeet meeee goooooooooooooo!!" I screamed. I squirmed and wiggled in my dad's arms, trying to save my sister from leaving.
~Aw... Flashback over...~
"He-hello?" A quiet voice echoed in the large room. I turned around to see, you might of guessed it: an ever-so-stunning-blow-my-brains-out Number peek her purple eyes at me.
"Am I in the right room?" She said. I could barley hear her. I walked closer, and as I did so she seemed to shy away. She shivered in the cold. In fact, I myself was slightly shivering, too.
"No. Here let me show you to the right place. I'm guessing the main labs have been evacuated... What is your name?" I chattered in the chill.
"I am Acelynn." She shivered a violent shiver, then coughed.
"Nice to meet you. Lets get you out of here." We were on our ways, when there was a loud thunk from the cold room.
"Aren't. You. Forgetting. Me?" Twitch said.
