Hey guys :D
So I finally decided to re-make the Featured artist world. I don't think it went too well the first time around, probably because I didn't put enough effort into it ^^;;; I've been wanting to re-start this for a while, and I finally got the chance so hopefully it works out better the 2nd time around :D
This world is to show off artists from all of the sections. Fan art, wallpapers, cards, and fan manga. There are many awesome pieces out there and no one gets to see them, so hopefully be showing them off here it will get more recognition from others!
(If you ever get featured, you'll know a little bit before head because I'd pm ya :D or a guest poster might pm ya :D)
In every post, I'm going to try and give a critique of the persons work so it's not just like hey go check this out. I'll also give reason behind it so it's not a random picture/wallie/card/fanmanga.
If anyone wants to guestpost, just leave a comment here or pm me :3. But if you wanna guestpost you have to leave at least 5 sentences about the person's work you're showing off :D.

Hiya everyone! Sayura(aragorn1014) here again, bringing you all another new feature!
So this person didn't submit art recently recently, but anyway I stumbled across her portfolio and saw this piccy a few days ago and I was amazed!
Looking at the image, take note of how many people are in this picture~ the composition is very neat and each part of the background matches the element or personality of the corresponding character, which adds a very nice touch to it. The expressions of the characters also reflect their personalities and you can immediately tell what each of the characters are like! The detail also is very nicely done as well~ especially on the weapons.
In a short critique bit, the lengths of some of the body parts such as the arms and legs are a bit long proportionally, but the clothes and other details are fantastically done.
Take a look at smartanimegirl's portfolio and see her art! She's only got 595 hugs for the 91 pictures she's posted as well as only 35 subscribers! So go go go!

Kizza's style is one that catches the eye quick for being dark and expressive. I'm a sucker for any art with a dark side to it. What makes the art stand out even more is the perspective of the head. It's uncommon to see amateur artists use such a perspective, thus showing she steps outside the box. The hair flows beautifully and really looks like the character is laying down along witht the position of the body. The coloring is so serene and I really envy people who can color this type of way. It looks so effortless.
I could just kiss the lips since they're so defined and the eyes really pop out at you. By making the eyes this color, it allows them to capture your focus. It also fits the title of the work. :D <3

I think what really caught my attention was the bright color. I wish i had mad skills at choosing really nice colors >_> but i fail at color choices lol. It's so vibrant *w* I really like how they shaded their picture as well. It's a lot of fun seeing how other people use their markers x3

Sophitia's portfolio has so many unique styles and subjects in it...and even takes advantage of a variety of media! This one being the most recent in Sophitia's portfolio.
Take a look at how clean the lines are. They blend together nicely in areas that are necessary, but at the same time have a crisp and neat feeling. The detail on the cat's fur is very well-done, and the background leaves a mysterious, sort of dark air about the cat. The artist's use of texture is great as well.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY :3! and to celebrate, we have this :3
I really like how they had the girl at that kind of angle, as;dlkf i wish i could draw people at that angle ;A;. i really like the fireworks in the background as well.. (makes me miss my photoshop ;_;) but, yeah you guys should go check it out, it's awesome :3
