Hime shook her head and regained her balance. She took a deep breath and returned to her friends who were arguing about what the paper was for.
“It could lead to a passage,” Dino suggested.
“What? ...You are focusing on the puzzles now?” Hime questioned.
“The other problem seemed too difficult to solve…So, we put it on hold,” Dante said.
“Wait. If there are four colors…shouldn’t our phones ring one more time?” Hime asked.
“How can we even get phone calls if our phones do not even have any service?” Kiki questioned, “Should we really trust our mysterious caller?”
Chero closed her eyes, her face sad.
“It will be ok, amore,” Dino said, giving her a quick kiss.
Chero smiled a little and blushed.
The song “Be More” started to play.
“There! Dino, if you would please?” Mocha said.
Dino nodded and answered his phone.
Ding~
“Yup. That there sounds like another piano,” Hime said.
“The next step would be to put the notes together, right?” Dante said.
Hime looked at Chero. Chero blinked herself out of a daze.
“Oh! Sorry. My note was La,” she said.
“I got Re,” Kiki said.
“Sol was my note,” Dante added.
“And my note was Si,” Dino piped up.
“So…Si, Re, Sol and La…” Kiki repeated.
“Let’s look at the piano then,” Chero said.

“Oh! I’ve got it.” Mocha said, “I think I know how to solve this. If we look at
the four notes that were played we get these four.”
Mocha pointed to four keys on the piano.
“And there are numbers on the keys,” Hime said.
“So, it 4269?” Kiki asked.
“No. Not yet. Now, look at the pieces of paper we found. It’s yellow, red, green and blue. So…If we match the colors to the colors of the numbers on the keyboard we get 5294 instead. See? It matches up perfectly,” Mocha explained.
“Twinnie is amazing!” Kiki cheered.
“Detective Mocha is on the case!” Hime grinned.
“When you explain it like that, Mocha…It seems so easy. Now that we have the numbers. Let’s head to the safe,” Dino said.
Chero watched as everyone went ahead. She slowly followed and paused at the piano.
“…Haa…They solved it after all, ne? Odd…” she said, closing her eyes, “I thought I had done everything right, but it was no use, after all…I-I guess I shouldn’t have given them a hint.”

Chero sighed, “But…No. Never mind. I’m sure this is the right thing to do! I-I’m not making a mistake…right? R-right…”
Chero smiled, “Yes. I’m not making a mistake. I’m not making a mistake at all. But…I wonder if Dino will be mad at me… Heh…Hime will. And then she won’t want to be my friend anymore!”
Chero crossed her arms and started to head to the door to join up with her friends, “We’re almost there…”

This chapter is short. But I had to do that due to the length of the next part. It will be extra long. That might be up today too...depending on if I get my Trig done.
