OtakuOni: Chapter Twelve

Hime and the rest of the group went upstairs and met up with Chero’s group.

“Sorry it took so long,” Hime said.

“No, it’s alright. We got a chance to rest while we waited,” Dino said.

“You brought a lot. We just needed one thing,” Tsukino commented.

“We also found a clock.” Chero piped up, “It was the one for this room…We were not sure if we should break it…or not…I think you know this, but we’re going to get out very soon. I don’t think we need to see the past anymore. And Luna and the others are taking care of things outside.”

Dino frowned and crossed his arms.

“Dino? What’s wrong?” Jenny asked.

“Nothing…I just. I was wondering why I don’t see the memories from the past…Isn’t
that odd? I’m the only one,” he said.

“Oh…Right. I’ve always wondered about that too.” Chero said, “…What universe was it? You see…Jenny said that the memories were just forgotten, but they shouldn’t have disappeared. So, in theory you should still have them, Dino…”
“Maybe they are being passed on?” Tsukino suggested.

“Passed on?” Danni questioned.

“What I mean is…blondie might be like my cute little imouto. Some of Chero’s
memories were passed on to me and we share them. Because we’re very close. In
Dino’s case, maybe…ALL of his memories are being passed on to…someone?” Tsukino
explained.

“But then…who on Earth could that be? I’m not getting Dino’s memories…Danni?
Jenny?” Chero asked her two “daughters”.

“M-me? I haven’t gotten any of Papa’s memories,” Danni said.

“Neither have I!” Jenny claimed.

“We’ll you two are adopted…I’m not sure if it’s the same?” Kiki pondered.

“Someone so close to Dino…that his memories are being passed on…all of them at that,” Francis said.

Leon pondered, resting his right fist as the tip of his chin, “Hmmm….or….maybe someone who matches his wavelength an awful lot…”

“Maybe Hibari?” Chero suggested.

“No…If it was him…He probably would have shown up due to being so angry at receiving all of those memories,” Hime laughed.

“They have….all of my memories? But…someone like that…I don’t…” Dino questioned.

Chero closed her eyes and pondered. There was that voice she heard in her dream last night. That familiar voice…

“Chero? What’s wrong?” Tsukino asked.

“Could it be…? No…It can’t be…” she sighed.
“Mama?” Danni questioned.

“I’m fine…” Chero said.

Chero looked at Dino, her brows furrowed in confusion and deep thought.
