The Next Day
New York, or Jenny was enjoying her Birthday. It was a good birthday. Alfred got her some new Avengers t-shirt, Arthur got her Dr. Who stuff. Yes. This was a good birthday. Though…one person had not visited her….
France…her boyfriend.
“Just right over here!” Danni said, pulling Jenny’s arm.
Jenny smiled and followed Danni down the hall.
“SURPRISE!” almost 100 people shouted at Jenny. She almost fell over from surprise.
“Oh wow! Thank you!” she smiled.
“JENNY I GOT YOU THE BEST GIFT EVER!” Casa said, pushing a large box over.
“You didn’t have to get me anything Ohio…..BUT I WILL ACCEPT IT ANYWAYS!” she
replied, tearing the box open.
Inside the box was France. He was dressed in a nice suit and had a pair of cat
ears on his head.
“….What is my boyfriend doing in your present to me?” Jenny asked Ohio.
“Shhh….Don’t question it…just accept…”
France looked a little flustered.
“New York, Jenny….I know we ‘ave been dating for only about a year…” France
started looking nervous. He looked at Alfred who gave him a thumbs up.
Francis’ face turned pink as he went down on one knee.
“…I…je t'aime…je t'aime, Jenny. I want to spend forever with you. Will you accept my forever as your birthday gift this year?” he asked.
“Are…are you asking me to marry you?” New York asked.
“Oui~ I already asked America for permission.”
Jenny turned bright red and nodded, “I love you too. Yes. I want to marry you!”
Casa held out a tissue for Jenny as the state started to cry. France beamed and hugged Jenny tightly.
“Thank you. Thank you…” he said, kissing the top of her head.
And so Jenny had the best birthday ever. Even better than that statue.
