The blonde girl turned to face Lana and giggled, only to quickly turn away again, red in the face, as Lana glared at her. The blonde girl, once again, carried on to scribble in her notebook, the teacher oblivious to her lack of attention. Lana whispered something to the boy next to her, who laughed and nodded. After the register finished, Lana stood up and picked up her shoulder bag, she carried it until she reached the desk of the blonde girl, when she swung it round onto her shoulder, at the same time, hitting the blonde girl's side. The people who saw it laughed, and followed Lana out towards the next lesson. The girl with the blonde hair was left alone. She picked up her notebook and fought back tears as she held her head up high and walked out of the classroom. She felt everyone's gaze upon her as she walked down the corridor, and she felt her face heating up, she ran her hands through her hair and tried to ignore the mocking words that reached her ears:
"Who the hell does she think she is?"
"...keeps watching Lana Smith..."
"Lesbian." And once one person heard the word 'lesbian', he joined in, and it carried on down the corridor where the blonde girl walked, following her like a stalker keeping close to his victim.
She managed to keep her tears back until she got to the lavatory, where she sat in a cubicle and cried her eyes out. She took out her notepad and carried on scribbling in it, her tears splashing onto the page, smudging her doodle, but still she carried on relentless. After a while, she heard the door open, and heard heels clicking against the floor. She looked under the door to see Lana's bright red high heels and legs against the sink. She inhaled sharply, and instantly covered her own mouth up when she realised Lana might hear her.
"Is there anyone in here? Hello?! Anyone?" The blonde girl kept as quiet as she could, although she could feel her heart pounding so hard she was surprised it wasn't echoing around the lavatory. Lana turned back to the sink and muttered to herself: "I was sure I heard something. I'm imagining things."
Right at that moment, the blonde girl dropped a piece of paper from her notebook, it drifted out of the cubicle and landed right next to Lana's feet. She picked it up and looked at it. Then she grinned to herself. She folded up the piece of paper and tucked it into her blouse pocket. She walked out of the lavatory and went back to her classroom. The blonde girl quietly opened her cubicle door, for fear that someone outside might hear her. She left the lavatory and went to her own lesson. She'd not been seen by Lana, but she knew her life was now to become very difficult.
