Turning the basement into a range

I went all-in on home golfing last year and honestly wish I’d done it sooner. I grabbed a setup from shopindoorgolf that fits low ceilings perfectly. It’s basically a compact enclosure with a short-throw projector, so even a small basement works. Setup took me a weekend, and now I can work on irons, wedges, and even putting whenever I want. The realism surprised me — ball speed, spin, and launch numbers all feel legit. It’s kept my rhythm sharp between seasons. Plus, I ended up spending more time with my kids since they love “playing Pebble Beach” downstairs. Totally worth it.
