my lost love

This is a very sad story that happened to me .......... it’s very personal

But I’m ready to share it.

There once was a girl named Ae-cha. She was a foreign exchange student from Korea, but spoke fluent Japanese and Korean. Everyone, everyone always picked on her, for her pronunciation of English words, but I offered to help her. She looked at me with eyes of the most earthen brown. Her hair a straight and black like a mighty stream. She looked at me and asked me
“You would help me”
And I said
"Yes of course I would.”
We spent a lot of time learning together every day was a new adventure, we both learnt so much about each other; but during this time she had fallen in love with me.
But one day we had taken an outing to the board walk it was a chilly October evening with the sun just about to set, she was being her usual spontaneous self wanting to look at everything that was readable, she wanted to look at one of the Spanish missionary monuments I told her about the history of San Diego and about how Spanish settlers found it, but then just out of nowhere she grabbed both my hands and asked to listen to my heartbeat
I said “ok.”
She pushed her smooth black hair up against my chest I could feel her against me and
She said "You feel like my brother Jakku-sama"
I was blushing by this time, my arm wrapped around her head and back. She asked me to breathe
And said “My brother used to give me piggy back rides when we were little and I would fall asleep to the sound of his beating heart"
She said to me “I could live forever in your arms”
The next thing I knew she had wrapped her arms around my head and kissed me on the lips, it was a deep…. meaningful kiss. I could feel her love going through me, her lips were so soft they were so comfortable, they were so.....soft, this was bliss, and this was.........love. We stood there, in suspended animation just her lips touching mine, she was apart of me, for 20 minuets or so we stood, it felt like an infinity.
She grabbed my arm, and ran me down to the beach. We watched the sunset together
And she said. “That’s what you looked like when I kissed you.”
I laughed all could do was laugh. But then she started to cry; I looked over and wiped the tears from her face..... And just asked why,
She said “Jack you've really helped me so much I really do this only for you.”
“I have to leave and I don’t want you to wait for me because we are so far apart”
“.... Don’t look back because I am crying.”
I said "its easer to live alone it dulls the pain, do you think in another life we could have been lovers."
She said "yes...... I love you"
I said “I know"

I couldn’t look at anyone else for months I would just stare at her yearbook photo and cry

I've moved on I played the lover and not the fool. Since then Ae-chan has gotten married to a business man...... THIS WAS REVISED ON FEBUARARY 18 2009 at 10:35: pm
