Life was lonely without Chase Even for a few hours. I know it was forced, but he was always by my side and I'd gotten used to it.
I motioned for a servant to come. I pulled him close and whispered, "Bring my a Hellian Hyaenodon, NOW!" The laces around my mouth vibrated. I was not going to sit here alone sulking.
The hyaenodon was brought snarling to me feet. I changed into the clothes a earthen human might wear, what Chase insisted on wearing when not in uniform. Just a some jeans, boots, and a big warm jacket. The surface was absolutely bone-chillingly cold.
I hopped on the animal and grabbed it's scruff. These things ran like a surface car on cobblestone. I kicked it sharply and head into the deeper parts of Hell. I found the little shack quickly and entered without knocking. In a room to the left, a young man hunched over a desk.
"Mars, I need you to take charge while I'm gone."
He turned, surprised. "Anything for the queen." and then he was gone. Damn fallen angel, so very rude. Yet so very reliable!
Outside I remounted the creature and rode non-stop into a portal, open and ready for me.
I appeared outside a castle and could her faint cheers from within. Was there a show going on? Why would Chase be here?
A pair of guards moved to bar my entrance. The hyaenodon growled.
"Let me pass." I commanded.
They refused.
I walked closer to the one on the right and pressed a finger on his arm. His flesh became an angry red color and began to blister. "you will show me to the prince." I said.
"I can't do that without seeing an invitation."
I moved my hand to his face. That too burned under my touch. "You dare ask the queen of all Hell for an invitation?" I whispered in his ear.
His face had a look of fear and surprise on the undamaged half. "S-sorry, I didn't know your identity, follow me miss."
With that, he led me into a great room.
"looks like the test has started..." He whispered. He continued down a hall and we came out in a huge colosseum. He went straight to the prince and exchanged some words. The prince turned to me and held out a hand. "Welcome Adalia!"
I heard A gasp from a few meters down and instantly recognized Chase. I took the princes hand quickly so as not to burn him and then turned to the Harlequin Incubus. I put my hand in my pocket and felt the worn edges of the picture. I saw the look of disgust on his face, how he hated me! I wished with all my heart he'd forget about that girl and love me, but it seemed it would never happen. I ran over to him and put my arms around his neck.
As a sign of respect he gave me a brief kiss on the cheek and then pushed me away.
"Chase," I began but he interrupted me.
"Shut up, you're making a scene." he said coldly and sat down to watch a demon shape-shifter finish the last of many soldiers in the arena bellow.

we saw what these 2 people can do which was pretty cool.'i wish Vlad was here' i thought looking sad."someone looks upset.think you might not make it?" said the prince,i responded back as "bite me!" then a voice that i knew very well said "may i then?"
we all looked at the goth boy sitting next to me."Vlad!!" i said and tackled my brother."whoa!!" he said falling back."dude iv missed you!" i said getting off of him."missed u too Bro".
"well isnt this new?" said someone,i wasnt looking to know who though."who is this?" said the prince."this is-" i was about to say then Vlad jumped in,"Im Vladimir,u can call me Vlad please and thank you.I am Ryou's brother,try and guess which ones older.And yes i am a Vampire!so if we ever travel together,sleep with one eye open." he said."yeah what he said." i said to them,"hes my brother.yes he is a vampire and i am human,but he are blood brothers" i added.some people said "hi" in a scary tone.
"So who wants to go next?" the Prince."we'll go!!" said Vlad."excellent!!" Micheal."Vlad why did you say that?" i asked him,"it seems like fun,anyways im hungry" he said looking really hungry."No killing them!!" Micheal said."Aww why not?" Vlad said."because i said!" Prince said."fine!" Vlad said.
Me and Vlad went to the battle ground."we're fighting together!!" i said to the prince."yeah!!So suck on that!!" Vlad said.the prince didnt look like he cared,then said "Fine if your fighting together double the amount." he said and more Guards came."if theres more Guards then make the time 30 minutes for both of us and that means we get an hour to fight them all." I said mocking the prince.he looked confused,then looked at the other.they shock their heads no."u do not get more time its unfair!!" he said,"fine then we dont need it" said Vlad."it will be like old times Ryou." he said cracking his knuckles."ok!Bring it on!!" i said and we charged after them.
Vlad was chasing them baring his fangs and doing the whole evil laugh thing.i was making it were they couldnt get up,by slashing at their legs.Vlad just scared some of them half to death."i love this!!" he said stoping and looking at me with a big smile."Uh Vlad look behind you!" i said pointing at him.then he did this,he hit the guy in the face with the back of his hand.i stopped and laughed,he joined me.
we were finally finished.and we looked at the Prince.".....you pass." he said and we start dancing."try to bet the vampire and the human!!" Vlad said.we had our arms around each others shoulders.then we went back to the stands and sat down chatting among ourselves.

So, we were finally being allowed to fight. About time. the only downside was that I couldn't kill them. I thought about ignoring the last part and just doing as I wished, but I figured I didn't want to take the risk of seriously upsetting some of these people.
I stood up, in the Colosseum's grand stand and jumped over the edge, landing gracefully on my feet. So, all I would need to do is make sure I hit their pressure points before they got to me. Hmmm. Seemed simple enough, and I was up to the challenge.
"Remember, no killing!" The Prince reminded me. "Thirty minutes for a time limit as well."
"I'll do it in less than a minute," I told him, a bit too cockily.
"We'll see," he said. "Go."
I took off running at my lightening speed, morphing into a terrifying demon, but the soldiers didn't back down in the slightest. I used the demon's power and snatched the spear that had been thrown at me out of the air and threw it back to him, i hit him in the thigh. He cried out in pain as he fell over. I didn't kill him. Besides, I would be able to heal him when I was done.
I was in the center of all the soldiers now, and my promise of one minute was dwindling. So, I yanked the spear out of one guy's hand and hit the pressure point in his neck; he was down. I did this with several of them. At one point, someone tried to stab me through the leg with a spear, but it only broke off upon touching the skin.
"Sorry, but in this form, you cannot hurt me," I smirked, knocking him out. Now, there were only seven left with about ten seconds left before my minute was up. I morphed into a teleporter and appeared behind them, knocking them all out.
I put my hands up in victory, signifying that I was done. I found the soldier I had pierced with the spear. I ripped it out without any regards to the pain he must have felt. I morphed again, this time into a fairy, wondering if the fairy in the stands would recognize the one I had morphed into.
I placed my hand over the wound and it healed right up. "There," I looked to him as he smiled, but I found I could not return the kind gesture and instead walked back up to my seat in the stands. "Told you it would only take me a minute."
