After i was promised a reward and got a few remarks from people and a hungry glance from a cat-demon, the group began introductions.
As i sized them up, I realized how each would prove useful to the prince. Maybe he wasnt that stupid afterall.
When the some boy introduced himself as a blade master and host of a demon, I decided I would get it over with.
"Hello, I'm Xexilia and I-"
"'Dont work for free for anyone or any cause,'" mimicked the faerie in an exaggerated way.
I grinned and continued, "Exactly, dear. Im an Elf and Im older than you could imagine. As for talents, I think I'll keep those a secret for now. You look like a fun bunch. This will be the greatest amusement Ive had in decades!"
With that I waited for the next person. And the test!
