I was listening to the prince intently and he said like he just thought of it, "How about a test of teamwork?"
I fought not to laugh out loud. Is this guy really the prince? I saw his fairy friend that I don't know her name yet stares at the prince. "you’re... not just making this up as you go along are you?” I looked at the prince as he rubbed the back of his head. "Yes." I felt my face fell was this really the guy I'm suppose to serve once I become Primus Wicce?
"Oh this should be interesting." Dusk said snidely and I nonchalantly whack him on the head.
“This time you’ll be fighting the guards in teams of two,” Prince Micheal told us. I glanced at the said guards and they looked ready to run away for dear life. This should be easy they looked a bit worn out but the main problem is who am I teaming up with. Please dear Hecate not that mad demon!
The prince continued, "Here are the teams:
• Kallik and Oric
• Chase and Knightly
• Emiko and Sahiro
• Vladimir and Zoey
• Ashido and Hanna
• Yuki and Ryou
• And Lilith and Xexilia”
I blinked, "Ashido?"
"He's that walking weed." Dusk said dully. I looked at him sharply, "You keep your mouth shut and behave."
"Yes master, I'm sitting this one out." He drifted away his bat wings fluttering lazily and he sit at the first row of the stands. I turned around and saw the one called Ashido coming over to me. I smiled at him as he stopped two paces from me.
"Hi," I regretted Ashido. "Looks like we're working together."
He nodded, "Yes it does. Do you have a plan."
I thought for a moment and got an idea that could work for use. "You work with plans right?"
Ashido nodded.
"I can summon my water spirit to help give your plants an extra boost."
"How can your spirit help?"
"Water is the source of life right? Well then I use the udine to help strength you plants like water right?" I smiled at Ashido and he nodded. "Well they're really gonna love Udine water, let's go!"
We went to our assigned area and faced the two soldiers.
"Okay now!" Ashido said as vines grow from his shoulders.
I chanted, "By the five points of the pentacle I summon the elemental of water Aqua the Udine." Water appeared around me and swirled gracefully like a whirl pool then a female looking figure morphed from the water and towered behind me. It looked like a mermaid but Udines are spirits that are made up of only water. "Udine use your water of replenishment on Ashido's plants." I told the udine.
Aqua raised her hand and water sprouts out and gently hit Ashido's vines. I watched Ashido shuddered from getting hit and then his eyes widen as he must felt the udine's magic water working. His plants shot out faster then they did before and seized the soldiers before they could do anything. I went over to them and struck my two fingers in there neck and they went limp.
Ashido released them and I turned to Aqua and the water spirit swooped over and hugged me. "UGH! Don't I'm getting wet!" she released me and bowed in apology and disappeared. I looked at myself in distaste. "Great I'm soaked."
"That was good teamwork," Ashido said walking over to me. "I feel extremely replenished. That udine water was amazing."
I nodded, "Yeah it's great but not good for clothes." I grabbed my shirt and squeezed the water out. "Okay see you later Ashido-chan." I waved at him as I went to sit with Dusk.
Ashido blinked at me and waved in return. Back in the stands I sat down next to Dusk. "Don't come near me your dripping." Dusk said in disgust.
"Shut up," I said and watched how the others were doing.
