I watched in awe as they all took down those Kenai like it was nothing! Who were some of these people? Turning my head to the side I listened in on what they were talking about. A feast? Maybe they’ll let me join! …Not likely though…
Then a purring noise caught my attention. It was a black cat… And a demon too if I’m right. I turned my bird head that way and started listening on his conversation and what the people around him were saying.
The humans were muttering amongst each other on why he would think of eating the Kenai… But why not? Dad told me that many demons can’t eat human food. And to even some it’s more of a toxin.
Finally it was done eating and curled up and looked like it was sleeping. Looking around I saw that most of the humans had went to join the feast that was happening in the castle. Good!
I glided down from my hiding place and before I hit the ground took on a human form. I really was only just a bird, but since before I came to the human world with my parents they thought me how to be able to blend in… The form that I was in now had been the first human girl I had see… Well close to what she looked like anyway. I had to change it a lot simpler because I’m not all that good yet.
Taking a steep closer to the cat I saw it’s ears twitch and I started to wonder if it really was asleep or not…
‘But maybe if I wake it up it will be friendly and I can talk to it!’ I smiled and walked over to the cat with confidence and poked its fuzzy head.
There was a low growl in response but it didn’t lift its head. Making a face at it I poked its head again and whispered/screamed, “WAKE UP KITTY!”
It’s head shot up and it glared at me with glowing yellow eyes. I just smiled at the cat.
“You’re awake!” I cheered then continued. “I’m Kei! What’s your name? You’re a demon too! I knew it! I’m a crow demon. Wow! You did really good in the fight! I was watching the whole time! Why aren’t you with the others? Oh duh cause you hate human food too. Right?” ((Note: XD As you can see, Kei babbles…))
It let out an annoyed hiss but I waited to see what his reaction would be.
