Alice
I followed Kei and September carefully, weaving through the crowd of people so I didn't have to touch any of them so that I didn't have to get any visions. I sighed in relief as we got to where the fire was in the kitchen, which was now dimming down. Fire didn't really bother me that much. I treated it like a friend, unlike Kei, who seemed to be emanating fear off of herself.
“How did this happen?!” September exclaimed a little, but he was probably thinking it was his fault, since he was always so off and bad luck when he was around a crow demon.
I tried to avoid people from touching me as I tried to touch September's shoulder. Once I finally did, he looked over and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm going to go outside so that I don't get touched by people, okay?" I told September as the girl we saw from last night bumped into Kei and waved at us. I didn't bother to wave back because I just wanted to get out of here.
I tried to ignore all of the auras going off around me and block it out, especially about the fire deal, as I hurried outside and sat down near the tree and tried to block all the sounds, noises, and auras spilling out of people inside.
I had a feeling with the bad luck emanating off of September and I, that it was our fault because of the small fire in the kitchen. But it was just a feeling...
Knowing one way to calm myself down, I pulled out my flute and blew a low note first and then started to play a small tune.

September
Both Kei and I, precarious of the people around us, followed Alice out of the palace, for what it seemed to be, and found her playing her flute under the tree we were at last night. I tried to keep a good distance away from Alice as Kei and I sat down on the steps that lead down to the huge yard.
"I wonder what the fire was caused from..." I spoke aimlessly, though for some reason, I felt like it was my fault. Some guy wearing a cooking hat had bumped into me, besides Kei who probably didn't get affected by my bad luck, and started the fire inside the kitchen.
I sighed and listened to Alice's tone inside her flute and the song she was playing. She was playing one of the songs our parents taught us, and was known by most demons. There wasn't a name for it, though it just sounded sad and beautiful at the same time.
"You wanted to know what we did for fun, right?" I asked Kei, not really wanting to talk, but she did ask the question earlier so...
"Yeah. What do you guys do for fun?" Kei asked happily, the whole fire ordeal seeming to escape her mind.
"Well, I mostly like playing my violin, and Alice likes to either play her flute, draw, or play with her yo-yo. Why?" I asked and Kei shrugged.
"I just wanted to know. So, you play the violin?" Kei asked cheerfully and I nodded.
"Do you two ever play for people?" Kei asked and I shook my head.
"We don't like to have that much attention on us," I told her and she nodded.
I continued to listen to Alice's flute playing and watched a dove place on the end of her flute as she played.
