*doesn't even notice*

~Lilith~

I glanced up at the sky that was beginning to get dark. A full moon, that wasn't good. I had continued to walk, and hadn't noticed that I'd lost some of my companions in my daze. I contemplated going to look for them, but decided against it. I walked into the first tavern I saw, and went straight to the desk. “Do you have any vacant rooms?”

The man looked me over, “Get your parents to come and ask kid.”

I twitched slightly, “Sir, I am not a kid.”

He looked me over and I unfolded my small wings for him to see. A look of understanding came across his face, “Ah, a fairy eh? How many rooms are you after?”

I thought for a second, I would need a room to myself for tonight, and I also guessed the same for that Zoey girl. Everyone else could share. “13,” I answered him. I knew for a fact that each room had two beds.

“13? You’re lucky you didn’t come last week, we would’ve never had that many vacant rooms,” the man mumbled as he reached for 13 different keys. “Here ya go, you’ll all be on the second floor.”

I nodded, “Thank you.” I turned to Hanna, who was standing beside me, and handed her 12 keys. “Could you please hand these out? Two people to a room, and Zoey gets a room to herself.”

“Oh, ok,” she took the keys from me and walked outside to hand them out.

I walked up to my room and made it inside just as the moon began to rise. I grimaced as the transformation began to start, “This is going to be a long night.” I looked into a mirror that was nailed into a wall. I now looked about 18. The full moon was like a fairy’s time of mating. A female fairy stopped aging in looks when they turn 10, and would only start to look older after the birth of each child. While the males stoped aging at 18.
