I kept walking but I slowed down to a stop when I saw a man walking up to me.
“Excuse me my dear fellow. You look exhausted why don’t you come inside our caravan and rest.” He offered.
“We insist.” A women said right behind him.
I did not like the look on her face. I backed away a bit.
“No thanks.” I smiled at them.
“But come now you don’t expect to just walk around all night?” He said taking another step closer to me.
“I’m sorry I have somewhere to be.” I declined again taking a few more steps away from the two.
“Fine then if being polite won’t work then you’ll just have to come with us by force.” The women stated with an evil smile plastered across her face.
“If you can catch me.” I smirked running in the opposite direction. In just a mile there was and open meadow.
I heard the caravan coming up behind me fast.
“Damn it.” I ran as fast as I could but the thing kept getting closer.
I saw the opening to the meadow that I was in not to long ago I gave it all I got and found one more burst of speed the just barely pull away from the caravan and into the meadow. Once I got into the meadow I spread my wings and took flight high into the sky. I stared down at the caravan breathing heavily.
“Who were those people?” I muttered to myself.
