*Human vices

It was late afternoon in the all boys private high school, the students sat in their 11th grade history class. The class listened intently to the lesson that Ms. Clarie went over. She was an energetic women in her late twenties, she loved history and enjoyed teaching the subject very much. A 17 year old boy sat at his desk staring out the window, his head resting in his hand. He had fair skin and dark crimson tresses that framed around his handsome face and hung over his left eye, his eyes were a bright azure that stared off blankly at the blue sky and dead tree’s of the school yard His head pounded, it felt like it was splitting.
“Zain! Zain Kaiser!” Clarie called to him trying to get his attention. Zain shifted his attention to her, she stood over his desk looking down at him.
“If your not going to pay attention then at least act like you are” she informed the class giggled a bit. The scarlet boy sighed and slumped on his desk fully facing her now. She beamed at him and returned to her lesson now that she had his attention. Zain sighed and slumped in his hand again gazing absently at the chalkboard.
The bell rung after a short while and the class was dismissed to lunch. The red head stood up sluggishly from his desk grabbing his bag slinging it over his shoulder as he left with the rest of the class. He then felt a hand smack his shoulder, he snapped out of his daze and stopped turning seeing his good friend Kampfer Valentine. The boy was noticeably smaller then Zain though they both were the same age. Kampfer was thin with porcelain skin and big beautiful green eyes outlined heavily in black. His hair was a raven color. His long side burns and bangs framed around his feminine face and was shorter in the back with soft gelled spikes with crimson tips. He wore a snug feminine yellow sweater with a black bleeding heart on the chest and black skinny jeans.

“Hey! I called you like six times and you didn’t answer” the smaller boy huffed at him. Zain smiled weakly and continued his way towards lunch with Kampfer fallowing right beside him.

“I’m sorry I didn’t hear you” he mumbled sleepily to him. Kampfer looked up and smiled at him childishly.

“Hangover” he chimed. Zain sighed and put his hand to his head as to try and ease his pain though he knew this was useless. “Don’t blame you though, you always get like this after drinking too much liquor” Kampfer sighed pushing it off as if it was nothing. Zain rolled his eyes.

“At least I don’t do abuse prescription drugs” he snapped back weakly. Kampfer grinned.

“Oh! And abusing alcohol is okay?” the raven haired boy shot at him in a teasing tone. “I guess that makes you better then little old me Humm? Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t drinking underage illegal?”

“Your point?” Zain asked annoyed now.

“My point? What I’m doing is perfectly legal, you’re the one with the fake ID” Kampfer finished still smiling.

“Do you always have to criticize everything I do?” Kampfer beamed at him and hugged him childishly causing Zain to stumble a bit.

“Nah! I’m just teasing! I love you to much to be a total jerk!” he beamed squeezing the taller boy’s waist, Zain sighed and placed his hand on the boys head ruffling his soft hair. The two sat outside in the courtyard sitting under a dead looking tree, Zain leaned lazily up against the tree’s trunk his eyelids fluttered as he struggled to stay awake. He was about to drift into a deep sleep when he felt weight press against his shoulder his azure eyes eased open again to see what the weight was, it was none other then Kampfer who had his arms wrapped around Zain’s shoulders, his face inches from Zain’s cheek.

“Hum?” Zain grumbled. Kampfer smiled brightly again.

“Nothing” he mused giggling. The crimson haired boy sighed.

The two boys walked out of the school once they were dismissed. They walked into the parking lot to Zain’s car. Kampfer skipped happily by Zain’s side. “Can I drive?” Kampfer asked when they reached the car. Zain laughed a bit.

“Hell no” the scarlet haired boy pulled his keys out of his pocket unlocking the door to the cab and climbing in. Kampfer fallowed the suit still smiling like a child.

“No need to be snippy” Zain pulled out of the lot and headed towards Zain’s house. “Hey aren’t you dropping me off at home?” he asked.

“No, cause I know you well enough to know what you want” he said smugly.

“Do you now?” Kampfer pressed. “Well dummy I wanted to go to my house first and get some drinks” he smirked. Zain made a face and quickly made a U turn jerking the car around, Kampfer cheered. “Do that again!”

“No” he said simply. “What all do you have at your house?” Zain pressed. Kampfer thought about it.

“I know it’s booze and I think we have some wine too” he said thoughtfully.

Kampfer raided through his fridge. His father wasn’t home yet so the house was empty, Zain waited impatiently in the doorway. “Hurry up” The boy ordered to Kampfer who was in the kitchen.
Kampfer stumbled out of the kitchen with some bottles in his arms.

“Don’t just stand there help me!” Zain rolled his eyes and took some of the bottles from the smaller boy, the two walked out to the car and placed the bottles carefully in the back seat of the car. Zain studied one of the bottles.

“You dad has strange taste what’s blue dog?” he asked. Kampfer opened the car door to the passenger side.

“It’s wine I think” he answer slowly. Zain shrugged and placed it back in the car slamming the door shut and walking around to the drivers side. “Did you know that the distillation of alcohol can be traced back to China and Central Asia and the Middle East?”

“What?” Zain asked. Kampfer sat in the seat holding a blue bottle. He was apparently reading the label on the bottle.

“It says so right here” he explained pointing to the bottles label. “Muslim chemist’s--”

“Yeah, yeah” he huffed annoyed taking the bottle from him to look at it as he drove down the rode. “Fun facts?” he asked reading the label. Kampfer shrugged. “I guess I’ll have fun with that when I’m drunk” he scoffed putting the bottle in the back seat. Kampfer smirked.

“Like you can read when your drunk” he teased. “Alcohol has short and long term effects” the gothic boy bemused. Zain rolled his eyes.

“Neither can you” Kampfer smiled at him.

“I don’t get drunk like you do”

Zain flopped on his couch propping his feet up on the coffee table. He watched Kampfer from his spot on the couch who was putting the liquor in the fridge, Zain popped open a beer and took a swig of the amber liquid in the bottle as Kampfer made his way up the stair to the bathroom. He could hear him up stairs in the medicine cabinet, Zain got up and walked up the stairs turning into the bathroom. Kampfer was kneeling in the sink since he wasn’t tall enough to reach the cabinet on his own . He carefully went through the white cabinet picking out bottle to look at them then place them back in.
“What’s Valium?” Kampfer asked looking at a pill bottle. Zain took another sip of his drink and leaned on the doorframe.

“Valium? It’s a prescription drug. It’s a benzodiazepine derivative drug. It’s used for treating anxiety, insomnia, seizures, alcohol withdrawal, and muscle spasms” Zain explained while Kampfer looked over the bottle. “It’s my mothers” he sighed. Kampfer opened the bottle and looked inside at the solid white crystals inside, he stuck his finger in and touched the pills then he put his finger in his mouth. “Careful that has some nasty side effects” Zain warned him.

“It’s kinda bitter tasting” he informed him closing the bottle again to look over the label. “Barbiturate?”

“Right. Valium is a benzodiazepine drug. Barbiturates are drugs that act as a central nervous system depressants, it’s the type of drug that Valium is” he explained. “there pills that you ingest orally”

“Any side effects?” Kampfer asked him.

“From mild sedation to anesthesia” Zain said taking another drink from the bottle that was now half empty. “It can be long term, short term, or intermediate” Kampfer put the bottle away.

“Tranquilizers is classified as a barbiturate too right?”

“Yes in a way, there a sedative drug. It’s a substance that depresses the central nervous system resulting in calmness, relaxation, sleepiness, slowed breathing, and reduction of anxiety, it can be swallowed in the form of a pill of injected through a needle” Zain explained. “But the needle part is usually for much higher doses, it too has short term and long term effects” Kampfer looked like he was deep in though for a moment before sighing and placing the medicine back in the cabinet. He then hopped down from the sink closing the cabinet. Zain raised an eyebrow questioningly.
“Your not going to take any?” Kampfer shook his head.

“I’ll make you a deal I won’t abuse prescription drugs if you don’t drink in access” the smaller boy offered. Zain sighed.

“Sure sure. I’m hungry what do you want to eat?” Zain asked.

“Lets make cookies!!” he beamed. Zain sighed and smiled a bit.

“Sure”

Ryakamimugin the dark side

*Light and darkness, two different sides of the same coin, one can not exist without the other. Were there is darkness there must by light, were there is light there is darkness…

Chapter 1 Gunfire

He sat there not moving, he just sat there staring at the wall. His arms hugging his knees, his face resting in arms. The memories from earlier were still fresh in his mind. His frame trembled at the memories.

“Watch were your going!” an older boy yelled at him. The boy froze not knowing what to do. The other students stopped in the halls and watched, each hoping a fight was going to brake out. The small boy stood looking up at the upperclassmen. The older boy glared at him. “I’m talking to you!” he yelled. The boy flinched.

“I’m sorry it was an accident” he whispered looking down. The boy smirked.

“Maybe I should teach you to pay attention” the boy raised his fist at the boy. The smaller boy flinched. Suddenly a gunshot was heard. The older boy quickly fell over, a sea of blood quickly taking to the floor. The boy stood in shock, some blood had sprayed onto his uniform. The students in the hall screamed and ran for a teacher.

The boy twisted his eyes shut. The police had thought that he was the one who shot the student. But after finding no gun on him they let him go. He knew he didn’t do it. He would never shot some one. The boy tightened his grip on his elbows. He sat there alone in his room still wearing his school uniform. He didn’t bother to change, every time he moved his frame shook uncontrollably. School was delayed a week because of the shooting, it had been a week since that day. The boy had bleached white hair that framed his pale face. His were a dark gray. He looked to be about sixteen years old, he was a first year in a private school for boys. His name was Daiki. He sat there trying to push the memories out of his head. How did that all happen? This wasn’t the first time something weird had happened to him.
He had been hearing an angry voice in his head since the shooting. The first time her heard it was today.

Daiki stood in the middle of the hallway facing a group of boys. The one boy smirked and walked up to the white haired boy. For no reason the boy slapped his books out of his hands. Daiki just let them fall. It was easier this way. The boy laughed and kicked his books across the hall. Suddenly Daiki’s hand shot grabbing his throat. Daiki’s eyes widened in shock. His hand was moving on it’s own. His hand tightened on the boys throat. The boy gagged trying to breath. The other boys ran over to Daiki.

“Let go of him!” they yelled as they ran over to aid their friend.

“I-I can’t” Daiki gasped. He tried to gain control of his arm again.

‘Watch as I snap his neck in half’

A voice said inside of him. Daiki twisted his eyes shut desperately trying to remove his hand from the boys throat. The other boys pulled at the white haired boy’s arm. It didn’t move it stayed fastened in palace. One of boys punched Daiki in the face. The eerie voice inside him growled in anger. He felt his grip quickly let go as he fell to the floor. The other boy fell to his knees coughing and holding his neck. The white haired boy sat up holding his face, he stared at the other boys with wide eyes. What had just happened?
The boys turned and glared at him. Daiki shivered as there hard glares were on him. He then heard the voice in side of him growl.

“Don’t do it!” he yelled out loud. The boys looked at him with angry eyes. Daiki could fell that he knew what was going to happen if those boys got to close. “Don’t kill again! I don’t want to see it again!” Daiki yelled to himself trying to reach the voice inside of him. The group of boys stared at him with wide eyes. “Please don’t I don’t want to see it again! I don’t want to see another person die! Just leave me alone!” he screamed again. Suddenly Daiki felt his eye lids get heavy . The voice suddenly spoke again.

‘I will never understand you’

Daiki then suddenly let his eyes close giving into the tired feeling. When his eyes reopened his eyes were a different color. They were topaz, a warning glare was given to the group of boys. The boys froze starring at the boy. Daiki’s face looked angry and full of wrath. The boy stood up still giving the boys a warning glare. One of the boys took a step forward.

“Don’t you dare take another step” Daiki’s voice was quiet and angry . The boy froze in place. That wasn’t Daiki’s voice. “If you ever bother Daiki again, I will kill you” the voice hissed. The white haired boy then walked past the group of boys not bothering to pick up his books.

Daiki shivered at the memory. He knew that whatever was inside of him was responsible for the death of that student. He waited in silence waiting to hear the voice again. He hadn’t head it after the incident. He must have been going insane. The boy blink then closed his eyes. He was tired. He didn’t know what was going on, but he felt as if this creature inside him was dark and had a lust for blood. He hoped that this was all a dream.

Chapter 2 the stained mirror

Daiki walked down the hall to the bathroom. He walked into the bathroom and turned to the sinks. He suddenly stopped and stood frozen in fear. A cold sweat ran down his face. The sinks and mirrors were soaked with blood. The dead body of a student lay on the floor in front of the sinks. His throat was sliced open and his head was smashed in. Blood stained the mirrors and sinks, the wall was a giant mass of blood. The white haired boy’s lithe frame trembled as he recognized who it was. It was the boy from yesterday the one that hit him. The boy lay in a sea of his own blood, the crimson flow still dripped fresh. Stained shards from one of the broken mirror were scattered around the dead body. Daiki’s breathing changed as his breath came in terrified gasps.
On impulse he looked up to one of the mirrors. His eyes widened in fear at the sight of the reflection. Behind him stood a boy about his age. His frame was small, his skin was deathly pale. He had long ebony bangs that framed his beautiful face. His eyes were a warm topaz, blood stains were on his left cheek. A small slime graced his lips.
Daiki shot around to look behind him only to see nothing but the white tile was behind him. There written on the wall was a bloody message.

I will protect you
~Ryakamimugin

Daiki gasped heavily as a terrified fear built up inside of him. He screamed as a reaction to the emotion.

A teacher then came into the bathroom finding Daiki and the dead student. She then called the police. Daiki was named a suspect and was to be interrogated by the police. Daiki was to terrified to answer their questions. The police officer glared at the boy. The white haired boy swallowed.

“I didn’t kill him, I-I found him there when I came in” he whispered. The man shook his head.

“You swear that you just found him there?” the man pressed. Daiki nodded. The man sighed and scratched his head.

The police nor the crime scene investigation team found any evidence that held any of the students accountable. It was like he was killed but he wasn’t there was no finger prints on the glass that was used to slit his throat. No type of DNA was found that pointed to the murderer. All of the students where requested to go back to their dorms and stay for the night.

Daiki sat in his dorm room, he sat on the function with his back against the wall. His knees where drawn up to his chest, his arms hugging his knees. It had happened again this strange thing kept happing to him. He wished he knew why these things kept happening to him. Everyone that has ever hurt him has died so far. Their lives were taken by the force inside of him, by that reflection in the mirror. A monster lived inside of him. Daiki twisted his eyes shut burring his face in his arms.

‘I will protect you’ the eerie voice said. Daiki’s head shot up.

“You get away from me” he warned the creature inside of him. He heard nothing after that for a moment. Then the voice sighed.

‘You can not protect yourself from the darkness that looms over you Daiki-san” Daiki grinned his teeth. ‘Please don’t get angry I’m only doing what’s best for you’

“And how is killing people good for me!” he spat.

‘You are unaware of the danger that is quickly coming for you’

“There is no danger around me!” he yelled.

‘I will never let anything bad happen to you’

“Shut up!” he screamed pressing his hands to his ears. “Stop protecting me!”

‘That which is light will be sought by those who shun the light, to clam and destroy the light that has brought happiness to so many, to turn it black and impure’ he whispered.
Daiki sat there in silence in the bedroom.

‘I will never let your hands become blood soaked’ he murmured. Daiki rested his head in his arms. Feeling almost safe with the creature around.

“Tell me you name?” Daiki asked quietly.

‘Ryakamimugin’ he whispered.

Chapter 3 defender of the darkness

The next morning was gray and dismal. Black clouds were crowded in the sky, thunder cracked loudly as the lighting flashed in bright colors of blue and white. The rain fell heavily pounding on the roof of the school. Daiki sat in class staring out of the window with tired eyes. He barely got any sleep last night, he didn’t think that he would ever sleep well again now that Ryakamimugin was now speaking to him.
The teacher kept going over the lesson on the board on the board. Suddenly she dropped the chalk. Daiki watched her with confused eyes. She slowly turned around to the students. Daiki heard Rya growl inside him. The teacher looked angry and worst of all she looked directly at Daiki.

“Daiki!” she yelled walking towards him. The white haired boy flinched. Rya growled loudly again suddenly Daiki heard a clicking sound.

‘Pretentious bitch’ he growled. Daiki’s eyes widened in fear.

“No! Rya! Don’t!” he yelled. The women seemed to stop in place with fear in her eyes.

‘Daiki take a looked through my eyes’ Daiki’s eyes turned blood red, his vision changed. it became tinted red around the edges of his vision, the teacher suddenly had glowing red eyes and horns on her head. The white haired boy gasped and jumped out of his seat.
‘Now do you see?’

“What the fuck is going on!” he screamed. The students in the class gave him a scared look. The teacher growled at him her.

“Ryakamimugin! The seal is not yet broken! You are trapped inside the body of light! Your bodies will be joined together forever!” Suddenly Daiki’s vision returned to normal. His head felt dizzy and he stumbled falling to the ground. He quickly looked up his vision renewed he saw the teacher step forward when blood shot from her stomach, the students screamed and rang from the class. A gunshot was heard as the teacher fell to the ground, a gaping hole was in her head. A crimson flow rushed out onto the floor of the classroom. Daiki gasped and shivered in fear, his body felt weak. A thick stream flowed to Daiki, the white haired boy stumbled to his feet and looked down at his reflection in the blood. There he saw a raven-haired boy standing behind him again. Daiki screamed in fear and confusion he fell to the ground again.

“This isn’t happing” he whispered in short pants. “This isn’t happening” Daiki crawled to his feet again his whole body was shaking with fear. He gasped for air as he stumbled out of the classroom. The students watched him with fear in their eyes, Daiki clutched the door frame to hold himself up. His breath came in short gasps. “This isn’t happing” a group of teachers came to the classroom horrified faces were painted on their faces. Daiki stumbled out into the hallway, he then fell against the wall and slid down to sit on the tile floor.

Soon the police were there questioning Daiki about the murder of the English teacher. Daiki sat shivering against the wall. The police officer yelled at him to answer there questions. The one police officer pulled Daiki back into the classroom and made him look a the murder scene. Daiki’s eyes filled with tears. The man yelled at him again. Suddenly a beautiful women with raven hair tapped on the man shoulder. The man then left, the women kneeled down in front of Daiki.
“Hello my names Okazuki, I’m here to help you Daiki-san” she said softly. Daiki nodded to her.
“Okay can you answer a question for me? “ she asked.

“I’ll try” he whispered.

“Who murdered Ms. Unni can you tell me?” she asked. Daiki shook his head. “Do you know who killed her?” Daiki nodded. “Tell me what did the murder look like?”

“It doesn’t matter” he began. The women looked at him confused. “He can’t be seen” he whispered. The man behind her snorted.

“Are you saying he’s invisible kid!” he spat. Daiki looked down at the floor.

“Something like that” Daiki muttered. The man glared at him. The women smiled.

“Daiki, there’s no such thing that is invisible all that is real can be seen by others” she whispered. Daiki shook his head.

“No he-” he began. Suddenly he looked to the chalkboard. The chalk floated in the air and began writing on the board. The women fallowed his eyes to the board, she gasped and quickly stood up. The police officers in the room gasped and jumped away from the board.

I killed the teacher not Daiki

The women swallowed and turned back to Daiki. “Is that him writing on the board?” she asked trembling. Daiki nodded. The women sighed and stood up facing the board. “Who are you?” the chalk began writing again.

Ryakamimugin, I killed the teacher and the two students in this school, Daiki had nothing to do with any of the murders that took place here

“Ryakamimugin? Well why did you kill the students and the teacher?” she asked trying to stay calm. The man kept his hand on his gun.

I won’t answer anymore questions from you, I have orders for you instead

The man spat. “It’s a trick! No one is there! It’s all an illusion!” he yelled. Suddenly the glass windows shattered in the room. The people flinched as the glass fell to the floor.

Leave now that is your only warning, the next time I won’t be so nice

The police officers quickly packed up and left the room. The women sighed and stood in front of the black board. “Ryakamimugin I’ll ask you one more time why did you kill those students and the teacher here? Answer me” suddenly the chalk dropped into the pool of blood. Daiki gasped and ran in front of the women.

“Rya! Please don’t!” he yelled. “Please don’t kill anymore! There is no reason too!” Suddenly the chalk was picked up again.

Daiki-san you’re a foolish boy

Suddenly the women became still, her eyes became unfocused. She then quietly left the room. Daiki fallowed her and saw that all of the officers were quietly leaving the school. The students and teachers stood still and moved towards there dorms. Daiki watched as they all silently left the hallway.

‘No one will….remember anything’ Rya sounded exhausted, his voice came in gasps as he spoke. ‘Go back….to your dorm’ eh sounded so tired and weak. Daiki ignored him and walked to his dorm. The rain continued to pound on the roof of the school, the thunder clapped loudly as the lighting flashed.

Chapter 4 Never letting go

Daiki’s eyes fluttered open. Thunder boomed and lighting flashed, the lighting lit up the dark room with a quick flash of light. Daiki sat up in his bed rubbed his eyes sleepily. He looked around his room.
‘It’s still dark out’
Daiki sat on the edge of the bed. He could hear the sound of heavy breathing in his ears. The white haired boy frowned.
“What the hell is wrong with you? I can’t sleep with you breathing like that” he spat. Rya gasped painfully.

‘S-sorry I’ll try to stay quiet’ his voice cracked.

“You have questions to answer first” he began in a whisper trying to keep quiet. “Why did you kill the teacher and those two students? You had no right to take their lives”

‘I did what I had to do Daiki’ his voice was quiet. ‘Their after you, I can’t let them kill you, I need you to live’

“I will live no one is after me!” he spat.

‘Remember what I showed you? I let you see and hear through me, you saw the teachers true form, I had to kill her’ he explained, his voice was quiet and hard to hear. His breathing was heavy as if he were dying. ‘There making there move after you now that they’ve found you they will kill you, I must not let anyone harm you Daiki’ Daiki became quiet. ‘All that I do is for you, I am you protector Daiki’ the white haired boy looked down at the floor.

“Are you okay?’ he asked. Starting to worry about the way he was breathing.

‘I used a spell to erase everyone’s memories of the murders and made them all got back to their dorms, I can’t use such forms of magic while sealed inside of you like this, I’m just tired is all’ he answer weakly. Daiki continued to stare at the floor. ‘Please just trust me I will do all I can to protect you Daiki, I promise’ the white haired boy shook his head.

“Please just get some rest” he muttered. Lighting flashed again lighting up the room again.

Morning came. The sky was still dark with gray clouds and rain still falling to the ground below. Daiki awoke and quickly got dressed in his uniform, he then brushed his teeth and hair. He stood there looking into the mirror, he then closed his eyes.
“Rya-san?’ he asked aloud. He stood waiting for an answer.

‘Yes’ his voice seemed to be back to his normal dark eerie self. Daiki smiled in the mirror.

“You sound much better” he pointed out. The white haired boy then walked out of the bathroom and grabbed his bag and left for class.

‘The extra sleep helped’

“You can sleep? I mean what are you exactly?” Daiki questioned quickly on his way to class.

‘A spirit that lives inside of you’ he answered simply. ‘You seem awful calm for a person that hears voices in his head’ he chuckled. Daiki smiled.

“Actually it’s only you I hear, and your on my side right?” he questioned.

‘Right’ he assured him. ‘I will do any thing for you, I am yours to use and command as you see fit, I will give you every thing, my heart, my dreams, my life any thing you ask from me is yours’ Daiki’s face flushed red.

“Y-yeah okay” he stammered.

The moon was obscured by the mass of gray clouds. A steady rainfall began to fall. Daiki’s eyes shot open when a loud thunder cracked, he then yawned and sat up in the bed rubbing his eyes.

“It‘s not morning yet” a voice greeted him. Daiki yawned in response, his head then shot up and he looked beside him. The lighting flashed lighting up the room and the figure that sat on the chair by his bed with a shadowing light.

“What the hell” he began in startled tone. A boy with longish raven hair sat in the desk chair facing the bed. He had crimson eyes and pale skin like a ghost. His raven haired framed his beautiful face. He was wearing a tight white tang top and black pants that molded to his lithe frame. Loose black sleeves rested on his arms, starting from his wrist and ending at his elbow. His expression was stoic, he stared at him with narrow eyes.
Daiki quickly stood up on his bed.
“Who are you?’ he questioned. The boy smirked.

“Ryakamimugin” he answered simply.

“How did you become human?” he questioned.

“I’m not human Daiki” he answered dryly. Daiki moved onto his hands and knees, crawling over to Rya on the bed. He reached his hand out and touched his face lightly. His fingers touched the frigged skin, he quickly recoiled his hands after the touch. His skin was so cold like ice. The pallid boy slowly reached out and cup his face again with warm hands.
‘He’s real and he’s here with me’
Rya let his eyes slid shut allowing the touches to continue. Daiki slid his fingers down his face to his neck and callor bone. Rya’s eyelids opened again reviling his crimson orbs. He gently grabbed Daiki’s wrist and pulled him closer to him, his lips met Daiki’s in a soft kiss. The ashen haired boy quickly jumped back away from the fiendish boy. His heart began to race in his chest.

“W-why did you do that?” he stammered. The raven-haired boy smirked, he stood up and stepped towards Daiki. His pale soft fingers slipped under his chin to gently force him to look at him. Daiki’s legs shook underneath him his voice was like velvet as he whispered.

“I must give you something” he smiled in the way a demon would, Baring his pearly white fangs into view. Daiki’s heart pounded in his chest, his whole body trembled. Daiki tried to take a step back, despite his effort his whole body refused to move.

“I-I want nothing from you” his voice cracked. Rya smirked again and leaned closer to his face, his lips were inches from his ear.

“I know you need this” his cold voice drifted ghostly into his ear, his body shivered at the cool air that touched his skin. Daiki trembled, Rya’s scarlet eyes closed as he leaned away from Daiki. The ashen boys eyes fallowed his fluid movements, he moved like water, slipping gracefully almost floating across the ground. Daiki swallowed before he spoke.

“What are you going to give me” he whispered. The fiend looking boy smirked, he fluidly pulled a small knife from his pocket. Daiki’s eyes widened as he opened the sharp knife. “W-what are you going to do with that?” he probed. The pale boy ignored him and raised the knife to his arm, he carefully cut his arms letting the scarlet blood run from his arm.
Rya then placed his lips to the wound and drank the blood, his other hand reached up and gently cupped Daiki’s face. The ashen boy froze as he leaned closer to Daiki his lips met his. His tongue gently forced his lips to part, a warm liquid poured into Daiki’s mouth. A small stream of the red liquid ran from the coroner of Daiki’s mouth. The small boy panicked, his hands immediately came up to shove the darker boy away from him. The darker boy didn’t even flinch at the force that was pushing on his chest. Daiki refused to swallow the crimson elixir, he forced it out of his mouth it ran in a red flow from the edges of his mouth. The ashen-haired boy muffled a protest against his lips, the darker boy soon broke away. Daiki gasped for air, he whipped his mouth with his sleeve. The fiend looking boy glowered at him.

“You didn’t except what I offered you” his voice was a heated mutter. Daiki clenched his fists and swung at Rya, the dark boy quickly caught his hand the stoic expression returned to his face. The pallid boy trembled with fear, he stared in his scarlet eyes his own eyes reflected trepidation. His lips quivered as he took in a shuttering breath.

“P-please” he whispered in a pleading tone. “Please let me go” Daiki went to move away, unable to escape Rya’s strong grip that fear grew stronger. Small pools of tears formed in his cloudy eyes. “P-please don’t” he begged quietly unable to raise his voice. Rya’s scarlet orbs eased behind pale lids, he then gently pulled Daiki close to his icy chest, his cold arms wrapped around him. Daiki sobbed quietly in his arms, Rya’s cool fingers brushed through his hair, he then cradled the boy in his arms and walked over to the bed. He sat down on the edge of the bed, his arms still wrapped gently around Daiki’s lithe frame, the pallid boy stopped trembling and sobbed quietly in his arms. Rya closed his scarlet eyes and rested his face in Daiki’s white silken tresses.

“I never meant to scare you, I would never hurt you, punish me if you are upset” his icy voice whispered into his hair. He then gently placed the knife into Daiki’s hand. Daiki sniffed and clutched his white shirt with his small hands. Feeling a bit stronger he nuzzled into Rya’s chest, he let the knife fall to the floor.
‘I can’t hurt him’

“I won’t hurt you” he muttered. Rya’s cold hand slipped under his chin and made the boy look up at him.

“It’s not hurting me it’s punishment” he whispered.

“No!” Daiki snapped at him, tears rolled down his hot cheeks. “I said I won’t hurt you! I won’t punish you either!” he finished. Rya pulled him close, Daiki’s head now rested under his chin. His frame trembled under his arms.
‘I don’t want to hurt him….’
Daiki gently pushed away from his chest, Rya’s arms were still loosely wrapped around his waist and neck. The small boy reached a hand to touch the features on his face. His thumb drifted under his scarlet eyes.
‘I want to be near him…’
His thumb then lightly lingered down his icy cheeks to his slightly parted lips. His thumb stopped and slowly stroked his soft lips, thy sweet smell of his cold breath gently drifted across his face.
‘I want him to be…’
Daiki then leaned closer to his face, his lips gently press against his cold mouth.
‘…mine’
Daiki broke the kiss and moved to kneel in front of him, his knees were now placed next to Rya’s hips. He leaned close to the dark boy resting his upper arms on his shoulders, his hands reached up from there resting place and began stroking his raven tresses. He entwined his fingers gently into his hair letting the silk thread slip from his hold. A looked of longing came to his pale face., his fingers danced lingering in his tresses.
The dark boy rested his fore head against the boy chest, his scarlet eyes closed.
‘Why do I feel this way? Like I can’t live without him? Just like I need air to breath and live I need him more then I need air, my heart bleeds for him, I don’t want him, I need him’
Daiki gently brushed the nape of his neck with lingering fingers. He leaned down and kissed his hair, his hand that was stroking his hair drifted down to his chest. Rya gently took his hand in his own, his cold fingers stroked it softly.

“Anything…you want from me is yours, anything you ask for anything you desire I will give you, I am yours I will never let harm befall you, Daiki” his voice was a tender undertone. Daiki kissed his hair again, in haling his intoxicating scent of it, it smelled of roses. Rya gently kissed his soft hand.

Our love is forbidden….
How does that make you feel…..
Like something good….
Or something tainted…

Chapter 5 Sleeping sun

It was late at night, the sky still shed it’s tears showering the earth below. Lighting flashed brightly and the thunder rumbled like an angry growl. Daiki lay sleeping in his bed, his body laid tight against Rya’s. The dark boy lay sleeping with his arms wrapped around the smaller boys lithe frame, his chin rested in his snow white hair. Their breathing was calm and peaceful, the air was still with only the sound of the thunder growling in the night sky.
The lighting flashed and was soon fallowed by the growl. Rya’s eyes eased open, his scarlet eyes glanced around the room. He then gently lifted his weight off the bed and quietly crawled out of the bed, being careful not to disturb Daiki. He fluidly moved to the window and closed the blinds. Rya then returned to the bed with Daiki again.

Finally the sun shined brightly in the blue autumn sky, morning dew dripped from the leaves of the flowers, birds flew chirping loudly as they fluttered through the azure sky.
Daiki’s eyes fluttered open, his gray eyes opened fully seeing the sleeping figure of the boy next to him. The ashen boy’s face flushed, his throat was so close to his lips he could stick his tongue out and lick it easily. Daiki’s face turned even brighter, why did he think that! But he could Rya probably wouldn’t object.
On impulse Daiki gently put his finger to this throat, his warm fingers came in contact with his icy white flesh. There was a small faint pulse beneath his flesh, almost like he was dead he certainly felt that way.
“Good morning” a calm voice cooed, his cool breath brushed through his hair. Daiki flinched his fingers immediately pulled away from their place. A cold hand gently grabbed Daiki’s, another flush quickly took his face.
“Did I do something wrong?” he asked calmly. Daiki shook his head.

“N-no! you just scared me is all I thought you were asleep!” he quickly explained. The white haired boy rolled over onto his chest, he then propped himself up on his elbows to see the alarm clock on his desk.
“Hey I woke up half an hour early” he muttered as he climbed out of bed. He walked over to his window to open the blinds, Rya sighed and pulled the covers over his head. Daiki opened the blinds and looked out at the campus., the suns rays poured into the room.
“It finally stopped raining” he smiled turning to Rya who was still completely under the covers. The younger boy gave him a smile.
“The suns out to” he pointed out.

“That’s nice” The dark boy muttered under the covers. Daiki frowned and crawled up onto the bed again next to Rya. He gently pulled the covers up a bit to see his face, the dark boy quickly pulled the covers over him again.
“I’ll burn” he said quickly. Daiki sat up on his legs on the bed.

“You’ll burn? Oh! I get it now you’re a vampire!” he exclaimed. “Is it true that you can’t enter a church?” he asked.

“I’m not a vampire I’m Amaranth I can go out in sunlight it won’t kill me it’ll just burn my flesh and I can’t see either” he said short of muffled under the covers. Daiki jumped up and closed the blinds, he then ran back and jumped on the bed next to Rya. The darker boy uncovered his face, he then folded his hands behind his head on the pillow. His scarlet eyes looked up at Daiki.

“I thought Amaranth was a legendary flower?” he pressed lightly. Rya shrugged his shoulders.

“It is, we were named after the amaranth flower” the dark boy explained, he then closed his scarlet eyes. Daiki smiled and crawled over top of Rya, he laid on his stomach his hands were folded on his chest with his chin resting on them. One of Rya’s eyes peeked open to see Daiki laying on him, his gray eyes reflected pure bliss.

“What‘s an Amaranth?” he asked with a small smile. Rya sighed.

“Amaranth are a legendary demon that are immortal, once our race was discovered we were the named Amaranth like the flower” he explained with a light voice. Daiki gave him a small smile, questions began to swirl in his head.
‘I still don’t understand why he’s here with me’

“Ryakamimugin-san why are you here? With me I mean?” Daiki asked with a small voice, his eyes downcast to Rya’s throat. The Amaranth smirked and placed a cold hand on The ashen boys head.

“I’m here to serve and to protect you Daiki” his voice cooed softly. Daiki looked up at him, his scarlet eyes gleamed. Daiki’s face flushed red as he stared into his perfect scarlet eyes.
“Is there anything you want at the moment?” the Amaranth asked in a perfect tone. Daiki swallowed the lump in his throat. There was one thing he wanted to ask of him.

‘C-can I give you nick name?” he stammered. Rya nodded softly a small smile formed on his lips.

“Any thing you want, what did you have in mind?” he whispered with a cool voice. Daiki thought long and hard about what he should call him, Ryakamimugin was just to long of a name for him to say all of the time. What name would fit him? Daiki thought of several things to call him but none of them seemed right for him.
‘His race is named after a flower, so…’

“Can I call you Tenshi-kun(angel)?” Daiki’s face turned bright red at the name. some how to him the name seemed perfect to him. Rya nodded.

“If that’s what you want to call me then okay, does the name mean something? “ he cooed lightly. Daiki’s face turned hot again.
‘He can’t speck in Japanese!’
He kicked himself mentally.
“Y-you don’t know Japanese?” Daiki asked.

“No I do but I only know cretin words that’s way I some times repeat myself if you haven’t noticed” Rya explained lightly.

“O-oh! I haven’t noticed, but then how do you understand me?” Daiki pressed.

“Sometimes I can’t understand you, but I’m really good at feeling what others are thinking and feeling so I some times just guess what your talking about and answer you the best I can” he chuckled a bit at this. “I fact the last sentence you said I only understood the words you don’t know so I kinda had to figure out what you were talking about” on my own” he smiled lightly. Daiki gave him a small smile.

“I’ll go to the library today an get you a book on how to speak Japanese okay” Daiki mused lightly Rya nodded. “But um I have a favor to ask you favor first” the ashen boy began.

“Yes, anything” he said simply.

“I don’t want you to look up the meaning of Tenshi okay, I’ll tell you what it means when I’m ready okay?” Daiki’s face was bright red again. Rya smiled at him.

“Any thing” he agreed with a small smile. Daiki then looked back to the clock.

“I’d better get ready for class” the ashen boy then got up off the Amaranth and walked to his dresser pulling out his black and white uniform. He then walked to the bathroom to get dressed. The darker boy crawled out of the bed and fixed the pillow and covers. He then sat on the chair at he desk. Daiki walked out of the bathroom after putting in his uniform and brushing his hair and teeth. He grabbed his bag and headed for the door, he cracked it opened and stopped turning to Rya.
“Stay in here until I come back okay, I mean it that’s an order don’t leave this room, don’t answer the door okay?” Rya nodded and a small smile. Daiki smiled and walked out of the room closing the door behind him. Rya smirked when he heard a clicking sound from the other side of the door.
